okay i booked my flight to orlando!!! :goodvibes considering we have never flown before lol. I was able to get the only nonstop flight in the morning...i was going to wait because its still 8 months out but when i was picking seats i noticed that all but like 15 were sold out so i booked...hopefully the price doesnt go down but i dont know how much lowere it would go from $80! DId i make a mistake? shoud i have waited?

That's a good price and Airtran offers credits if the price drops! Then you can use that credit to pay for your bags!

$80 is a good price. You did fine.

Airfare is not as low as it used to be so I think $80 is fair these days.

BTW - we use Air Tran out of BWI on a regular basis. That is our airline of choice - be sure to sign up everyone in your family for their A+ Rewards program. It only takes 4 flights (2 roundtrips) to be eligible for an upgrade to Business Class.

Keep an eye on your flight times - Air Tran is famous for changing them - esp. this far out. But if you catch it changed & it's not good for you just call them - they will put you on a better flight. I find their early morning ones going down don't usually change too much tho. :thumbsup2

Oh, and when you selected your seats they probably were only showing the ones available at that price - I am sure the plane is not that sold out this far out. Next time, book thru kayak.com and you won't have to pay those fees for the assigned seats.

That's gone now. Either it was a "loophole" they closed, or they had a deal going with their partnership and decided to end the deal. Either way, no more.

I guess I'm out of the loop! I booked our spring break flight some time ago and still got the "free" seat. Bummer.
