Hi just wanted to say a big thank you to all you guys on the DIS for all your help I managed to make our ADRs for the first time and it was easy. We don't go until Feb 13 but now so excited as we've never stayed on site before. We're doing Chef Mickey for breakfast GF for my husbands 40th and Rose and Crown for Illuminations which we've never seen, in fact we managed to get everything we wanted. Just one thing what's the weather like mid feb we have been told it will be cold and wont be able to use the pool. Also just found out about Garden Grocer so will do an order for water, breakfast stuff etc. I have found out so much about Disney and holidays that I wish I knew prior to our last 3 visits so a huge big thank you to everyone on here I'm now addicted Amanda xxx:rotfl::thumbsup2

AWESOME!!!!! So good to hear it was a painless experience!!!
My 180 day window opens up on December 23rd and I am actually nervous as it will be the first time I have made any ADRS so its really nice to get some positive feedback from a fellow ADR first timer

Did you call and book them or do it online?

Yes the weather can be on the cold side but it can also be warm/hot as well.
We went Feb/march 2011 and found that it could indeed be cold in the mornings but it did warm up throughout the day and by lunch time it was def t-shirt weather! We did have weather hot enough to go in the pool (although the Floridians thought the brits were mad) but somedays there was a nip in the air. I would say even if its warm when you go out take a jacket/cardi etc with you because it was always cold in the evenings. Basically dress in layers:)
Its just that time of the year where you really can be cold one day and be so hot the next..pack for all weather..

Glad you have all your ADR done..:thumbsup2

Hi Bee86 I did all my ADRs on line I got my booking ref number from my TA and my dining reservation number, I linked the DDP to my reservations
, I had to be flexible with my days and times but managed to get what I wanted. Didn't book for everyday just the main ones as don't want to feel to restricted with 2 young boys 5&8.

Hi thanks Vanda I see your just down the A30 from me I'm in Hook. Ill take your advice and take layers it will be quite nice to go round the parks when it's cooler having spent lots of time over there pushing pushchairs in really hot weather. We're not to bothered about water parks but maybe nice just to get in the pool. Amanda x

I must be a Floridian as I found Feb too cold to go in the pool but it was in the 80s every afternoon so DH & DD went in a couple of times. I just grabbed a sunbed and watched :thumbsup2

:rotfl: blimey what temp do you need to go in the pool:) We found it lovely in the afternoons but on some days that little nip was enough for me to think it was going to be a tad too cold when I got out the water so gave it a miss:)

yay howdy neighbour:goodvibes

We really liked it that time of the year because it was lovely walking around the parks when it was cooler. Mind you we did get hit by a load of brazillian tour groups at the end feb/beginning of March!!! Other then that the parks were quite empty. Would def go again in Feb. We're not a fan of water parks either so it wasn't an important factor to us but as you say nice to have a quick dip if fancied.:)

Can't wait to start booking some ADRs - especially Be Our Guest! I'm refusing to abbreviate it to BOG at the mo lol... :goodvibes

I still have a while to go yet though, around 70 days or so I think. Although every time I try and work backwards from my departure date and count back 180 days, I keep ending up on a different day haha :lmao:
