Booked 50s PTC and DH doesn't want to eat here again...suggestions?

We've eaten at PTC two times in the past, but DH said that he did not like it the last time and is not interested in eating here again. We have a lunch ADR. What are some other suggestions for DHS? I've always heard horror stories about Sci Fi and Mama Melrose's...

now that is a place my DH likes to eat! safe family food.
we have also eaten at SCIFI several times,, only had good food.
a LOT better than counter service.......

We had a fantastic experience at SciFi on our last visit. It was my DS's favourite at WDW of all dining during our 21 nights. The food was not bad, we all enjoyed our meals and our server was great, very friendly and helpful, there was nothing that we could have complained about from our lunch there.

Last year, August (hot outside) we ate at the Sci Fi for the first time.

Our food did take a long time to come, but it was so nice and COOL in there, and fun, and when it did come, it was really good! I was pleasantly surprised by the lunch. They did a burger for DS with food allergies with a special bun (that may be the reason it took a little long), DH got a tofu dish that he said was so good! I got a sandwich, forget what DD got.

We really really liked it - I'd see if you can get into there once.

My kids are wanting to go back - I may try to get an ADR there, as we have one for 50's Prime Time, but we've eaten there 3 times.

I'd go for it if you can get an ADR.

We've also enjoyed eating at the SciFi. I really enjoyed the Reuben, it was really yummy! Kids and DH were happy with their meals too and the kids loved the atmosphere. They always ask to go back there again!

I'd go to Sci-Fi! It's one of only 2 restaurants we've been to on every visit to WDW, and we love the atmosphere! We like the food too, but it's more like a bit better than CS food, no fancy V&A stuff or anything.

I have eaten at Brown Derby but it is a little up in price but the service and food where good. I have also eaton at Sci-Fi and enjoyed as well. Mama Melrose was OK but not a must for me. If given a choice I would take Sci-fi again. I can't comment of H & V as I have not eaten here yet. I love 50's PT a lot and plan to eat there again on my next trip.
