Book through DCL, and then have Costco apply my FCC from a currently booked cruise?

We have a cruise currently booked with our FCC through Costco that was a previously cancelled cruise. I just realized we have a conflict and I need to move it to another date. With the new cruises released, Costco is not even accepting phone calls when I called this morning. I need connecting staterooms with our new cruise and have them picked out already and am worried about them disappearing if I don't get them booked. Can I put a hold on them through DCL and then when I'm able to get through with Costco move my credits from my currently booked cruise to the new one?

Yes. You might or might not be required to pay the deposit to DCL & move that new cruise to Costco before transferring the FCC to the new cruise. But it's certainly allowed to move FCC to an existing cruise, so you'll be able to get it done one way or another. Book the rooms you want now via DCL, then call Costco later & ask about the procedure. If the Costco phone rep is clueless, call Disney and ask them how to handle this.

As PP mentions, I think you will need to pay the deposit on the new staterooms. Then you will have to transfer those reservations to Costco before they can apply the FCC for you.
