Ok, so now that I have all my ducks in a row, I'm having a hard time waiting until tomorrow to book my Hard Rock reservation over the phone. I want to do it at the Universal Orlando website right now.:cool1:

My question is, if I do it now online, would I still be able to call tomorrow and add my Loews #, my AAA info, and a room request? Or is my reservation basically locked since I'd be making it initially online?

I'm not exactly a UO newbie; we've stayed onsite twice before a few years ago, but back then I wasn't such a planner. Now, every detail matters, for the fun of it, of course.

Hope someone can help with my questions, so that I can book ASAP!

Hey, fancy meeting you here! :lmao:

Book online now. You can add your loews # to the reservation but you cant get the AAA rate on the loews website. You can book it on the AAA website though. You could put a room request in the comments field. If you do decide to do it this way you can always call with your res# to add whatever info you like at a later date, anytime.

Did you originally get a AAA rate by calling? You can call now, it isnt too late if you wanted. Thats an option.

I was actually hoping you'd come by!;)

Another question pleeeeeeeeeease...

Both the Universal and AAA websites have the same rate, which is $439 a night. Does that basically mean there's no AAA discount for that time?
At the UO site, their price came up SEASONAL RATE
Room only rate, not combinable with other offers
.
I didn't put any AAA info in. So it looks like it doesn't matter where I book through?? I know I'm pathetic, but thank you for your patience!

i avoid booking on websites.

i always call UO direct. that way i can find out what promo specials they have going on for the time period i want to stay.

it's a personnel choice. some rather never use the phone to book ressies and prefer doing it all on line.

Since I'm just as pathetic about issues like this, I didnt notice!
Yes, it means one of two things. Either the AAA rate just isnt out yet or there isnt/wont be one due to the Holiday. In any event you can book now and check it every so often. If the AAA rate becomes available give them a call and they will change it for you and there is no booking fee to do so.

In this case I would book it using the Loews website and get your info on the reservation (loews # and requests).

BTW - I'm thinking you will see a AAA rate offered for those dates as the time gets closer but they will be limited.

I always call, too. I'd rather talk to a person in person LOL. But the problem is waiting until tomorrow when the Universal reservations office opens. I'm an instant gratification kind of girl, unfortunately. When I want something, I want it yesterday. I'm not a narcissistic brat, just an excitable , emotional woman who wants to get my vacay started. I tell all my friends, I'm not into jewelry, fashion (well, maybe shoes are my only splurge), I don't gamble, I don't buy expensive dustcollectors for my home, so all I have as a hobby is obsessively planing trips. It truly makes me happy.

I absolutely cry over WDW, it touches my heart, my soul, I relive my wonderful childhood memories. Disney saved me from depression. And Universal makes my blood pump hard in my chest, in my veins. I'm a princess at Disney, and I love that. At Universal, I'm looking to tangle with the Green Goblin, who once took hold of my ponytail and wouldn't let it go! I absolutely love both places, for different reasons. Disney is my lover full of sparkles and fantasy; Universal is my one-night's stand full of excitement.

And so, I'll see how long I can hold out and wait to call tomorrow. I don't think I'll make it.:cool1:

About the possible promos being offered, if I book online, just to get it done, can I call tomorrow and ask about the promos, and then have them applied to the ressie? Since it's Christmas week, I don't see any promos, although they may have some unwritten ones that only the TMs know when you call.
I think I'm just going to do it online, and call tomorrow to fine tune my ressie.

I'm learning so much here,:)

Again, thank you very much. I'm going to book right now, through Loews, and then as you suggested, watch for AAA rates to come out. Here I go; wish me luck!

Done.
I'm officially booked for HRH Dec. 26th-31st, Deluxe room, Loews membership number added, upper floor requested, 439/night, 2 adults, 3 teens.:yay:
