Book Now/Wait for Deal/Hope for Pin???

The past two years I have booked through AAA and gotten good deals through them on room rates. I also like getting some of the perks they have like the luggage tags. Last fall I booked a Feb. 2009 long weekend and when the buy 4 get 3 came out I was able to add the nights to the trip with no issue.

Is that always the case with the package deals that you can modify your existing trip to include them? Also, in the one in a billion chance that I were to get a pin could I apply that as well or would I not get one since I was already booked?

I had a package booked before the 4/3 deal was announced. I called Disney and was able to apply the sale to my already booked package, no problem.

A second time, I had room only reservations and then I noticed on the website that Disney had a special on room rates. Same thing. I called, asked if I could apply the sale to my existing reservation, even though I was already paid in full, and there was no problem.

Disney refunded the difference in price. I was told that the refund might take up to three billing cycles, but the credit was on my card within a few days.

Definately worth keeping your eyes open and making a quick phone call!
