Book now for November or wait for discount?

Well I think we have finally decided when we are going to go.

We picked the week before thanksgiving. It works out that our son has off that Monday for veterans day so he will only be missing 4 days of school.

We are going to stay at All Star Sports. We have stayed there twice before many years ago with our oldest son but our youngest has never been there. We are big sports fans and we think he will love the theming. Plus we are trying to do it on as much of a budget as possible for a Disney vacation and I think *** is the best bang for the buck.

Now to the question, should we book it now or wait for any possible discount or free dining plans to be announced? I think if we can get the free dining we will probably do that.

Also how are the crowds that week? Last time we went in early December and crowds were light but it seems that more and more people are coming early December now (according to the crowd charts). So we thought week before Thanksgiving might be a great time. Still have the Christmas decorations up and get to see the Osborne lights.

Book now and secure the room. If any discounts come out, then you can apply them to your existing reservation. Never wait.

If you are going regardless of whether or not a discount is offered, I would book now to make sure you get what you want. With that said, if your trip is dependent on a discount of some sort, I would wait to see what discounts (if any) come out before you book as booking now will mean that's one room closer to capacity and one less room Disney has to fill. Disney releases discounts to fill rooms, so if a resort is at or near capacity, Disney sees no need to offer a discount on that particular resort/room type. Good luck and happy planning .
