Book home resort now or wait for deal to close?

Looking to go to WDW for nine nights leaving March 7, 2012. Our home resort is AKV, but we always stay ot OKW. Usually I book AKV at the 11m mark and change over to OKW at 7m mark. We are waiting to close on 200 more points, probably in 2 weeks or so. Should I borrow points from 2012 UY (Dec) for the March trip and book it now, or should I just wait to close and then book. It is March Break here in Canada and I don't want to miss out, but I'd rather not borrow a whole wack of points if I don't need to. TIA

You can't unborrow those points once they have been borrowed. I'd wait.

That's what I thought. i just get nervous about availability, but I think borrowing that many points is a bad move. Thanks everybody.

I agree with everyone else, I'd wait. It's only two weeks. I'd be shocked if everything at AKV was booked in only two weeks. Now if it was a few months that would be different.
