Boo to You! My visit during Halloweentime & MTOTP! ~ 2 MORE SLEEPS!

Cristabel, I love the older pics from Disney!! How great. Thanks for sharing those.

Ch-Ch-Ch-CHANGES

Originally my sister and I were going to have an OST (original sisters Trip) for my birthday in November. Diana was going to get a 2-day parkhopper and we were going to go November 2nd & 3rd. Well, I have to work...ON MY BIRTHDAY!:headache: It's our city's marathon. I could ask for it off but I REALLY need this money to continue paying of my debts. So instead of getting more into debt, we decided to make this trip in October our sisters trip. I'm really bummed because we would have been going on my REAL birthdate!:sad1:

So this means we might be kicking Tyrae out of our trip unless we can find a fourth person to join us (we're all about even numbers for rides!) I really like hanging out with Tyrae so I think I'm going to see if our cousin will come too, they get along great.

But if it all works out and we all go, we will ALL be celebrating our birthdays at Disneyland even thought we wouldn't be in our respective months.
Me- November 2nd.
Diana - October 27th
Tyrae - September 9th(?)
Sergio - November 14th

We are having a mini dis meet Sat. Oct 25th and at Mickeys Trick or Treat Party Tuesday Oct 28th...hint hint hint....lol

Hello hello! I'm joining your pre-trip report. Your plans sound pretty good so far! And I love the old Disneyland pictures.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?
I'll tell you! I have been so busy these past few weeks! I finished my summer job August 7th and we left that same day to visit family up north near Stockton. It was a glorious mini-vacation and I miss them so much already.

Now, on to Disneyland. My cousins came down (same ones I saw early Aug.) and went to Disneyland. I wanted to meet them there but I had no money for food or the $40 block out ticket:headache:

So I am desperately waiting for this Halloween trip, I miss my Disneyland so so so so much! I just saw some pictures up on micechat and it looks so cute!

I really want this shirt

I'm hoping to be small enough to fit in their XL when I go in October!
I have already lost 10 lbs and I'm losing inches, too. I do have size and weight goals but to keep it fun for myself I focus on goals such as "I want to fit into Space Mountain more comfortably" or "I want to be able to sit with another person on the Matterhorn".

I don't really have any planning updates because I don't plan much for Disneyland, seeing as I'm a regular. The sit down places requiring ADRs, PS, whatever are too expensive and I've already eaten at all of them at least once in my Disneyland history. This trip, I want to try Rancho Del Zocalo at Disneyland and the clam chowder in DCA.

OOOOooo, according to news from micechat the sunwheel will be taken down September 11th after the park closes and changed to a Mickey head pattern. The Mickey head design on Screamin' will be changed to a sunburst, I believe. I'm really excited for all these changes!

I'm really looking forward to this during Mickey's Trick or Treat Party!

That's all for my "non-update". Good night...er, good morning!

Yes, it's that time again!I start my last semester of junior college in 3 days! I'm very excited because I'll be that much closer to moving out in January 2009! I've applied to Cal State Fullerton, which is conveniently located 15 minutes north of Disneyland:woohoo: Right now, I'm in the process of sending and collecting transcripts. I still have to talk to a counselor to make sure I'm sending the correct transcripts and at the right time. I had already sent a request into the housing department awhile back to see if I could get a dorm but sadly they are all full for next semester but they said I will be kept on the waiting list if any dorms were to open up. I don't really mind waiting because if I move into a dorm in Fall '09, I can request my room mates. I have emailed my uncle to see if I could move in with his family for the spring semester, seeing as they are only 30 minutes away instead of 1 hr 10 minutes, like us. It's a big decision so I'm definitely giving enough time so my aunt and uncle can think and talk about.
Anyways, what this means is that I'm this much closer to my October trip! WoO hOo!
:cool1:

I'm still not sure if my sister and her boyfriend will be joining me at Disneyland during the day. Her boyfriend can get discounted tickets from his mom's work but it all depends if my sister gets the money. I might just ask someone to join me at Disneyland during the day who also wants to go to Mickey's Trick or Treat party. I really want to go all day but we'll see. If anything, maybe we'll get there around 1pm-2pm and they can do DTD while I go to Disneyland. I just hope it works itself out.

It's finally September!:cool1:
My friend and I couldn't help ourselves and we went to Disneyland this past Wednesday. It was so EMPTY. We walked on to everything and the longest wait was for Peter Pan.:goodvibes

I'm still debating if I want to dress up for MTOTP and if I do, what am I going to be?!

What to do, what to do??:confused3

I went to the Disney Store and bought this for my October trip

I almost fit in it, too! It's a women's Large.
My family keeps telling me that I'm getting smaller and that it's noticeable, but I've only lost 11 lbs.

I'm going to work out extra hard (maybe incorporate strength training) so I can fit comfortably in my shirt in October.

Oh, I might be getting a job at the Disney Store! I had my group interview on Monday and they said it would take two weeks for them to get back to us because we were the first group of several that they were going to interview. I'm pretty confident about this because I have worked at this store before (winter '06) and it seems the managers like me so I'm hoping it all works out!:flower3:

Hi!

I am so sorry to be late to your cute pre-TR!

Congratulations on your college AND your poss job at the dis-store!

Congratulations on the 11lbs!!

I'm really enjoying your report. I hope to see more soon. popcorn::

Hi Cristabel!! I see you are as anxious for October to get here as I am. I keep toying with the idea of starting my Pre-TR now too, but then I think what will I talk about for almost 3 months! :lmao:

:lmao:

OMG That is SO great!!! Nice job guys. :cheer2:

Nice to see someone is actually reading my pre-TR:laughing:
So I DID get the job with the Disney Store! I've already been to my first store meeting and my orientation is next Monday!

I'm down 2 more lbs at -13lbs.
I'm really hoping to get to -15lbs very soon.

If all RTOs (Requested Time off) are approved for everyone, we will be there Wednesday October 22nd.

I'm super stoked about the Halloween decorations
I want to be there by opening to get the most out of my Disneyland visit until Mickey's Trick or Treat Party starts over in California Adventure at 6:30. Of course, I want to line up before they actually start letting people in.

So what time should I get out of Disneyland and go to California Adventure?

It would only be my best friend and I doing Disneyland because my sister and her DBF can only afford the tickets to Mickey's Trick or Treat party. So my sister wanted us to get there like at noon! That's ridiculous! I'm like NO WAY! I love being there at opening! But I might settle with getting there at 11am.

How do you think the crowds will be, considering it will be a Wednesday?

What should I bring?
We're not really dressing up, mostly because my group is a bunch of party poopers. I bought a t-shirt from Target and it looks like a bunch of mummy bandages.

Sadly, I'm nowhere near that small. It fits as of now but it's definitely snug. I'm trying my best to get small enough to feel comfortable wearing it in public.

I love the "mummy" shirt! I would totally have worn that if I had seen it at Target like a week ago (when I actually had a little bit of money to spend). I have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to be, I just don't feel comfortable doing my Goldilocks outfit at DCA KWIM?

Thanks for shamelessly plugging your PTR on mine!

Yay CSUF!!!!!!

Us youngins are gonna have so much fun in March! We can text each other all the time, 'cause we know those, um, more mature, women don't know how to text! :rotfl:

How long are you staying?

We were there for only two days. We left DL the first day after lunch at the BB at 11:30 am.. we grabbed another FP (For SM, I think) and headed over to DCA as DL started to crowd up.

The next day we collected a few FP and rode stuff then collected another FP and headed over to DCA a little ealier becuase most of the things we had left to do were over at DCA.

But I think most of the tips say to begin before Rope drop at DL then do it early and head over to DCA around lunch-ish. But if you have the time you might want to spend one day doing a rope drop over AT DCA.. that would be kinda cool :cool2:

For the crowds: We were there peak season in July and it was DEAD DEAD DEAD on Sunday and picked up more on Monday (course no days were NEARLY as dead as reya's mommy's trip... that was magnificent)

If you do the park(s) well enough *hydroguy's tips - then you should be fine no matter the crowds. popcorn::

I'm broke again but it's ok because I've paid the monthly due for my CC bills.

Thanks for visiting my PTR via said shameless plug :lmao:

Or don't have it included in their plan and who does that?!?! I have unlimited texting, it's how I survive school.

Actually as of today it's officially 20 pounds!:cloud9:

No, I can't make it to the mini-meet. I'll be there two days the following week, Oct. 22nd for Disneyland up until MTOTP and the 24th @ Disneyland/DCA for a couple of hours while Osita has her spay surgery.
