dropping by from the FB group and saying HI! Your girls are so cute! I love how your disney "obsession" or shall we call it your disney "extreme interest" began! I wish I could get my DH on board, but a trip every few years is the best I can do!

So glad you are here, and thanks for the compliments! It's kind of amazing how much we all have become caught up in this love of Disney. I never would have expected it at all. We loved that cruise....wish we could do one more often but with how expensive they are it's just not possible.

Thanks..I wish I could have remembered more details and had more pics...but we were just in the moment the whole time. I only wish I could do a week long cruise AND a week at WDW...that would be PERFECT!! But, alas, I am not made of money...

I love Castaway Cay! The CMs actually had to ask me to leave the beach when they started packing up LOL. I didn't want to get back on the ship. I loved biking the island but as soon as I was done, I ran straight into that water. It was so hot!

Ugh!! I don't blame you....it was sooo hot riding that bike! I know what you mean about MNSSHP...even though the girls have seen it once, it was back in '08, there were so young and we missed most of it because of our dinner ADR. So it's like it will be new to them...can't wait!!!

Isn't hilarious? When we were there in Jan I asked the girl at the entrance if this was a ride or a show and she had NO IDEA what I was talking about. I told her to go on youtube and watch it...all she said was she didn't have a computer. Weird!!!!

I hear ya...surprisingly enough, it wasn't that bad...my butt handled it pretty well.


The checking on a off the ship would be my downfall, everyone on the ship trying to disembark at the same time.

I was so frustrated with it all...and I think we will probably wait until the last possible moment to exit the ship next year because of it. We were kind of in a hurry because we wanted to get back to Lake Buena Vista and hopefully check in to our hotel to nap if possible. Live and learn!

When I filled this out in Dec 2010 I didn't have any cute Disney name, and alas nothing has changed since then. I just can't think of anything.
But, we all now know DH as Ferb, DD 11 as Stitch and DD 7 as Rapunzel!

GETTING THERE


5. How do you usually get to to Disney World?::

By air..I can't imagine driving that far


6. What do you do to pass the time while getting there?::

We have become an electronic family, we have two kindles, an Ipod touch and two DSi's and just recently a lap top to keep us all entertained while traveling.


7. Do you have any particularly memorable or interesting experiences you can recall happening on your journey to Disney World?::

Bed Bugs!!! Not fun, but definitely noteworthy! CHECK YOUR BEDS PEOPLE!!!



LODGING

8. What is your favorite place you have stayed at and why? It does not have to be on property::

So far we loved CBR. POP is great too, but we loved the pirate pools at CBR!!

edit: Must add WBC to this list now....it's wonderful to have so much room!!

9. What is your least favorite place you have stayed at and why? (It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad place, it's just that maybe out of all your list of favorites, this would be your least favorite)::

Our experience is limited, POP and CBR were both great!
edit: POR was wonderful as well!

MAGIC KINGDOM

10. What is your favorite attraction in the MK?

Ferb says Wishes. I'm thinking Pirates..Stitch will probably say Pirates as well or maybe Splash Mountain..and Rapunzel would definitely say BTMRR!

11. What is your least favorite attraction in the MK?

Stitch's great escape!

12. Tell me a random memory you have involving the MK.

Ferb says it's when we stood watching the Castle show, first trip, first time at MK ever, and he looked back and saw my happy tears!!

Me, I loved it when we ran into PUSH on our first trip(haven't been able to find him since), but it was totally random, had never heard of him before. We had a wonderful interaction with him, he commented on my hair, the girls matching shirts, the fact that we were from Canada..it went on and on..at the time I didn't realize how special this would seem...but every year our youngest wants to find PUSH...we REALLY need to find him this time so she can say hi again!!

edit: we've seen him a few times since, but never got any interaction at all...

13. What is your favorite place to eat in the MK?

We really enjoyed Pecos Bill's. But I am so looking forward to BOG opening...might not get to be there until 2013 the way it's looking though.



EPCOT

14. What is your favorite attraction in Epcot?

Soarin' for me, Ferb says Mission Space


15. What is your least favorite attraction in Epcot?

Ferb says Living with the Land, I say the French movie


16. Tell me a random memory you have involving Epcot.

On our first trip Ferb asked at the gates about trying to find Tinker Bell because Ariel was ALL about Tink that year. This was before Pixie Hollow. The CM went to inquire for us..we waited quite a while but when he returned to apologize for no Tink, he had YOMD pins for the girls and they had Tink on them!!

LeCellier..


18. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?

Ferb says UK.. I say Canada..loved that movie!! Especially since you can see our town in it..even where we work is on that one..we're famous!!!!



HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

19. What is your favorite attraction in HS?

Ferb says Star Tours, so happy with the new additions..can't wait to see more this time around. I still love TSMM, Rapunzel loves TGMR and Stitch loves RNRC

20. What is your least favorite attraction in HS?

Ferb says American Idol, and I say Tower Of Terror



21. Tell me a random memory you have involving HS.

In 2008 on our first trip, Stitch went on TOT with us and she came out tears streaming and just crying like a baby...it was horrible...but also funny in a horrible sadistic Mommy way. We kept teasing her every time we passed the TOT sign while riding the bus. It was so mean of us, but Stitch laughs about it now....wow we really sound horrible in this story, maybe I should delete it?


22. What is your favorite place to eat in HS?

Sci-fi

23. Do you watch the Citizens of Hollywood?

Got some great pics of them trying to steal this unsuspecting lady's food..it was hilarious all the things they tried to steal a bite...she finally clued into what they were doing and she just kept on eating like nothing untoward was happening...weird and funny!



ANIMAL KINGDOM

24. What is your favorite attraction in the AK?

EE!!


25. What is your least favorite attraction in the AK?

This one is hard, I want to say Bugs Life..but we haven't done enough here to be sure.

26. Tell me a random memory you have involving the AK.

On our first trip we found Camp Minnie Mickey and we had no wait to meet the characters...little did we know how random it is to not wait to meet them...


27. What is your favorite place to eat in the AK?

We've only ate at the express Yak and Yeti..we love it so we keep going back!!
edit: we have done Tusker House for breakfast since then and Y&Y is still on the top of the short list, but this year we hope to finally try Flame Tree!

OTHER DISNEY PLACES

We've done both...loved Blizzard Beach

The family raft ride!!

Yep in 2008..we liked the pirate thing and the raft ride...

Air, 9 times out of 10: Southwest, never again: Delta.

6. What do you do to pass the time while getting there?::
iPod Touch, laptop with dvd player, my favorite gossip magazines, naps.

7. Do you have any particularly memorable or interesting experiences you can recall happening on your journey to Disney World?::
Our flight to WDW left 2 1/2 hours late, our layover was short to begin with and they held the connecting flight. We bought DS a ticket so on the connecting flight, we had to wait about 20 minutes for the flight attendants to find people to change seats so I could sit by DS. On the whole trip, to and from, we had 4 different flight attendants ask us if we had purchased a ticket for DS or try to inform us that we would have to check his car seat. Guess this must be a common problem. But after all that, we still made it to WDW and only 30 minutes late!



LODGING

8. What is your favorite place you have stayed at and why? It does not have to be on property::
WL, I loved being able to go eat breakfast out on the balcony and watch the crazy people jogging on vacation every morning. It's just a beautiful resort. Would love to stay there again someday.


9. What is your least favorite place you have stayed at and why? (It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad place, it's just that maybe out of all your list of favorites, this would be your least favorite)::
The All Stars, I'll just leave it at that.

MAGIC KINGDOM

10. What is your favorite attraction in the MK?
Pirates, Splasg Mountain, and Carousel of Progress.

11. What is your least favorite attraction in the MK?
Stitch

12. Tell me a random memory you have involving the MK.
My first trip, as we walking down Mainstreet for the first time, I burst into tears. DH thought it was funny and took a picture.

This past trip, got to see MSEP for the first time in about 8 years. DS was a little over 4 months old and was just starting to distinguish colors. It was amazing seeing awe in his face of all these colorful lights coming by him.

13. What is your favorite place to eat in the MK?
Cosmic Rays. Cheese sauce while sitting outside gazing at the castle, it's a wonderful thing!



EPCOT

14. What is your favorite attraction in Epcot?
Figment!
15. What is your least favorite attraction in Epcot?
Maelstrom, just don't understand the hype.

16. Tell me a random memory you have involving Epcot.
It didn't happen to us personally, but white waiting in line for popcorn, right before entering Canada, there was a guy in front of us ranting and raving to the CM how he was told that World Showcase was an indoor pavilion and how did they expect anyone to walk around outside when it was cold. DH and had a good chuckle about it.

17. What is your favorite place to eat in Epcot?
Rose and Crown

18. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?
Japan, I love the shops. Want to do the pick a pearl next trip.



HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Tower of Terror

21. Tell me a random memory you have involving HS.
December 2011, again DS gazing at all of the colorful lights. Also DH had set up his camera and tripod to take photos and he had quite a few people walk up to him and hand them their Photopass cards. They thought they had found a Photopass photographer without a line!

50s PTC

23. Do you watch the Citizens of Hollywood?
Yes, we got to watch a recreation of Sleeping Beauty with the cleaning lady. It's so funny how many women were willing to hand over their husband/boyfriends to "Sleeping Beauty".



ANIMAL KINGDOM

24. What is your favorite attraction in the AK?
Expedtion Everest. Go Disco Yeti!

25. What is your least favorite attraction in the AK?
Dinosaur. Having large Animatronics charge towards me scares the crap out of me!

A bird pooped on my should while walking through the bird exhibit.

Yak and Yeti, love the wok fried green beans.

As of tomorrow, Snow White's Scary Adventures. I always loved at the end of the ride when Dopey would wave bye.

In 1997, my first trip to DL and going on Pirates for the first time. I remember loving the drops and at the end of the ride, when your boat is being pulled back up, I was totally convinced this was going to be followed by a big drop. Boy was I disappointed.

Disneyland

48. Have you ever had to explain your love for Disney to someone who just didn't "get" it?
Yes, I don't see how it's any different than if you go on a camping trip each year, or to the beach, or hunting etc. It's our escape so leave us alone!
