And now our girls!

Stitch will be 12 when we go again in Oct. I can't believe how much she has changed over the years.

We all already know that her fave is Stitch. She likes him because he is so silly and our Stitch can be so crazy silly sometimes...especially when she gets excited about something..like maybe a trip to WDW?

I love this little girl...she is so kind and generous and she is very sensitive to other people's feelings. Don't get me wrong, at her age she is definitely going through some emotional ups and downs and it's sometimes difficult to navigate...it'll only get worse I am sure. But for the most part she is a wonderful kid. She loves to read and do arts and crafts and she will take the most obscure item and turn it into something pretty amazing!

And now our little Rapunzel...
She will be 8 on this vacation. She has come leaps and bounds since that first trip where she was scared of everything and so overwhelmed with the all that stimuli! This was one of the rare smiles we got to see that week..

As you can see, Rapunzel has changed over the years from a timid little girl to a fun-loving kid! She has turned into such a little ham in pics and she has also become quite brave with rides! She loves her family and friends a lot! She loves to play with her friends and dance with her ballet and tap class. She's lots of fun! Can't wait to take her back to our happy place and play!!!

AWWW! WE all love Ferb....he was so helpful to me last year too. And I finally bought a new computer this year...so hopefully all those troubles are in the past!

Oh yeah..I had totally forgotten about that! Glad to hear you upgraded! Computers are great until they don't want to work anymore..I am constantly calling him to check out my computer cuz I'm afraid to download anything for fear of breaking it!

Great updates! I love seeing pictures over the years because it does show you how much they grow. It definitely seems like Ferb knows how to have a good time. Love some of the crazy hats he tried on.

Is that one picture of Stitch at Tepan Edo? If it is, do you recommend it. We are wanting to try some new places for food on this trip and have been considering that one for one of our Epcot days.

Yeah, it's funny because he used to be so subdued...but over the past few years he has become more of a ham than the girls!! I love it!

Yeah, that is Teppan Edo. Ferb and I loved it. The girls were pretty good about it the first year, so we went back again the next year and this time they were disappointed. I think the fact that they knew what was coming with the "show" part of it they realized that they didn't like the food after all. We loved it, in fact Ferb was just talking about going back there again. Maybe when the kids are older?

Well, Southwest opened up their schedule for Oct and boy am I disappointed. The times of the direct flights are really bad and the prices.... I get that the price of fuel has gone up...really, I do....but these prices are atrocious! We are just going to have to play the waiting game and hope they have a seat sale....

Can't write an update without at least one pic..

Anyways, that's all for now. I have to go into the girls' school today and volunteer for Scientists in School in Rapunzel's class. I really hate doing this kind of thing. It makes me pretty uncomfortable for many reasons. I was always bad at both Science and Math and can't take the pressure of having to know something in front of all those kids, let alone a real scientist and Rapunzel's teacher. Plus, I am pooh sized as you have all seen and have a bad back ( I know, lose some of that weight and it wont' be so bad ), but the thought of having to sit in those little kids' chairs...
So, I am wrought with anxiety over this kind of thing....but I love my daughter...and I was having a weak moment when I volunteered!

Hopefully it won't last too long, I have so much I need to do today...groceries, cleaning...and with only two days off and no sleep when I am working, these things need to get done on my weekend. Oh well...enough whining...time to get this day started.

So funny about Stitch - that's my kids' favorite, too! In fact, he played a huge part in our last WDW trip. We saw him a total of three times - totally made the trip.

I need to start checking airfares, too, and am a little worried after reading about Southwest. We splurged a little on our upcoming trip, thinking we'd save on airfare. Uh oh....

I was a bit disappointed in Southwest's times and prices myself. Jetblue is cheaper for us but they only go through part of our trip so I could book our flight there but not the return yet so I am waiting until they release the fares that will cover it all and book at once. Jetblue's times aren't the best either but we are possibly going to add on coming in a day earlier now to not waste a day of the trip due to the late arrival on Jetblue.

Thanks! School was good with Rapunzel, she really enjoyed having me there! I have looked at Airtran's schedule as well and the times are better...the price is listed the same as SW, but with baggage fees it's more. Plus they are notorious for changing their schedules, although that may have changed since they were taken over by SW. I guess the waiting game continues.

I know, the schedule sucks! We used to be able to fly direct on the first flight out...now it's only in the afternoon which kills a whole day at the resort for us, plus they want $156 per person one way for a connection when we used to pay $65 per person for a direct only 4 years ago...that's an insane amount of inflation for a way more inconvenient flight.

I am going to be looking into flying out of the regional airport in Niagara Falls either with Allegiant or DirectAir. The flights could be cheaper even with all the fees and they would at least be direct. Gonna have to wait for their schedules to be released, though...

I should really be cleaning my house and doing laundry right now....but I'd rather be dising so here I am!!

Just wanted to start a list of things that I am for sure wanting to do...this can include rides, attractions, shows, restaurants.....drinks!!

It's also not limited to new things, otherwise the list might be really short. So without further ado and in absolutely no order whatsoever, here is my first draft of:
Things that I must do while on this vacation!

First and foremost....my favorite....
The Welsh Dragon!!!!

So yummy....so refreshing....and unfortunately expensive, but that won't deter me from enjoying it's fruity,refreshing delishness....
I skipped it this past January, why I can't remember. I do remember making a conscious decision not to get one.....I don't know what was wrong with me?!

Number two....

Nommmmnommmmnommm.....
The cream cheese pretzel!!!

I usually like to have a frozen coke with this....it's the perfect snack!

Yummy number three is...
Churros....

Why oh why is That guy never around when I want my churros!!

Number 4...The Pina Colava

This one I usually like to have poolside...but since we aren't staying on site I will have to go out of my way to enjoy this elsewhere.

Can't for get a classic...Number 5 is the Mickey Premium

A quick little update...I got a call this afternoon from the travel agency that I will be working with to sell Disney Vacations. They called to let me know that I passed the TICO exam. I had been waiting to finally jump that last hurdle and get started! I AM SO EXCITED!! As London Tipton would say, "Yay Me!".

Thanks everyone!! I am super excited to get started...we ordered some business cards yesterday ( I wanted to make sure I actually passed and didn't jinx myself by ordering them earlier).

3/4 ounce melon liqueur

Congrats!!! Now you have me thinking we need to go to Rose & Crown on our arrival night just to get me one of those. I'm sure it will be quite tasty in the heat of the summer too. mmmmm... That would also be a new food experience for us so now it's a must. LOL.

I can't wait to go on Big Thunder since it wasn't open when we were there in Jan. We didn't get to do it when we went last July either because the wait was far too long and at that point I was getting tired so it's been a long time coming. Ian has never been on it either so I'm excited for him to try it for the first time.

You have given me an idea to post on my PTR now. Thanks for the idea!
