Boo to you, and Yo Ho Ho!! An Oct 2012 PTR. Updated 10/22!! Finally!!!!!

Day 3 on The Dream!

It takes much concentration on my part. With that being said, I told Ferb that I would try really hard to do this, the last attempt was in The Bahamas in 1998 on the booze cruise....I couldn't handle it, but I figured it might have been because of the booze?

I told her to go on youtube and watch it...all she said was she didn't have a computer.:confused3 Weird!!!!

That was her response?!?!:rotfl:

The Adirondacks sound like fun! I like you like camping in theory but not in practice. I hate bugs, can't see what thrill of sleeping on the ground is and don't get me started on indoor plumbing! However, I love campfires, hiking, swimming in lakes, and fresh air ;).

How nice that R & S get to spend some quality time with the grandparents, and yes sometime we have hold our tongue and just go with it for the sake of the kids. I'm sure you'll need lots of positive vibes during those days! :goodvibes

I didn't know you were on FB... I'm sending you a direct message ;)

Yay!! Another survey complete!!! Thanks for sharing, Bicki! I sent you a friend request on FB BTW!

We survived the dance recital weekend from H E double hockey sticks. Actually, it wasn't that bad, although 7 hours of sitting at rehearsal was a bit much, but it was worth it to see my baby dancing! And surprisingly, most of the dancers were very talented and the music choices were awesome...I mean who would have imagined a tap dance to 7 Nation Army by The White Stripes? But it was AWESOME!! Those girls were so good, all in their Army gear and looking pretty slick!

Anyways, Rapunzel did well, she remembered all her choreography for the most part and smiled for the most part ;). It was cute. We had dinner afterwards with my parents around the corner from the theater at our fave local chinese restaurant, yummy!!!! It was a nice day with my parents.

So, now we have to look forward to finishing the school year and then SUMMER!!!:cloud9:

I am going to try to add the link to youtube for Rapunzel's ballet dance..it's dark and blurry at first but clears up pretty quickly..Rapunzel is in front of the sign on the left...the tallest in her class, she is going to be 8 in July, but is taller than the oldest in the class...the girl next to her on the right is 11! Needless to say she ended up being in the center, back for the final pose..

Aren't they graceful?:rolleyes1

I used to dance and after watching the recital tapes when I got older, I feel bad for making them sit through those recitals LOL. DD did a good job!

I'm not gonna lie...I was a little afraid of how bad it would be...I remember someone in our high school dancing for the talent show...she was HORRIBLE!!! I just figured all non-professional dancers would be this bad, but I was pleasantly surprised!

And thanks, I thought for a 7 yo and first time dancing she did pretty good. Awkward, but good!;)

Hey we have over 6,000 views on this PTR!! :grouphug::cool1::disrocks:

But, how the heck did we end up on page 3?!?!:headache: Must post more often!:surfweb::lmao:

The girls are staying with my cousin this weekend, so I will be doing nothing but work, sleep and eat...and sleep some more!:cloud9: I miss them while they are gone, but boy do I love how much sleep I can get!!

There is nothing new to report trip-wise...so hope everyone has a great weekend!

I think the worst is the really little kids who are like 3. Don't get me wrong, they are absolutely adorable in their costumes, but they're too young to know coreography & end up just standing around onstage looking cute. We had a lot of those classes during my recitals and they just seemed painfully long if you weren't a parent of one of the kids!

Woo hoo, you survived! Rapunzel did great!:goodvibes

Thanks! And it was a relief when it was all done, I am sure Rapunzel will want to do it again next year, and of course we will go along with what she wants, but at least I will know what to expect and be better prepared.

I know what you mean, after all the money we paid, at least Rapunzel learned something from it and enjoyed herself...those little kids, their parents paid the same amt as us and what did they get? An overpriced costume they will never wear again, and some time on stage staring into the audience dumbfounded. Cute? Yes. Waste of money, well that's debatable I guess. There was one boy that got perturbed with the little girl that wouldn't move over so he stomped on her foot, then one little girl refused to dance and just let everyone "dance" around her...it was funny, but I'm glad we waited until now.

That tap dance sounds pretty cool, maybe cause I really like that song! I thought Rapunzel did a great job! I'm sure she had a great feeling of accomplishment after. You must have been so proud! ;)

It WAS pretty cool! And yes, we are very proud of her...mostly because she really kept her cool throughout the whole show...I would have been freaking out ;).

Week 9
"I"
It's a Small World

And here is a funny pic that shows how the girls feel about this particular ride...

100_1857-1.jpg

I love this picture!! It's speaks volumes!:lmao:

We have LOTS of pictures that look just like that! With my kids being so far apart in age, my oldest (disney lovin girl) 22 and my youngest (age 4) have smiles...while my 2 in the middle, DD13 and DS17 have the frown/bored look:goodvibes

The dance was good for their age. I should totally upload DD's first (and only) ballet recital. It was painful! She's an uncoordinated clomping horse. Swear. She's much better at soccer, and now we have her in karate, but if she tries to dance, it's just bad :)

And that is exactly how I feel about IASW.

What? You love it AND hate it? LOL!!!

That sounds about right!:thumbsup2 I think Rapunzel loves it so much because it was the first ride that didn't scare her on our first trip when she was only 4...sort of like her security blanket.

Oh, please do...sounds like it would be funny! The one girl in her class plays Lacrosse and her Dad said she will be sticking with that only because she was so uncoordinated...but I think dance helps with that! I have been trying to get Stitch to do something, karate is the latest we have been trying to talk her into...we'll see....
