Bonus 1,000 Southwest miles (for Chase card holders)

I just did the offer again. Same RR # and credit card as before. It worked and gave me the "congratulations" screeen (again). So the offer is still accepting certain participants. Of course, it means absolutely nothing if you never get your points!

Where do you go to check your points, your RR account on the airline's website or your cc? I don't see these points on the cc, and I don't see a breakdown of points on the RR account on SW's website so I'm not sure what's been posted.

This may also be a crazy question but.... I purchased two flights several months ago and paid with my SW cc.... I saw the points on my cc statement for the purchase. Do you not also get additional RR for flying? In other words, before I had this card, I still got RR points when I flew using another card to pay for it. Then, it was the flight credits on their old system, but I just assumed you'd now earn points for actually flying, not just when you used the card. Is that right? Hope that makes sense

the bonus points should show on your Southwest Rapid Reward account. Mine still have not posted for this promotion either, so I am keeping an eye out for them. Hopefully they will post soon.

As far as points for purchasing a flight and points for flying, you will get 2 points per dollar spent on SW flights made with your SW Visa, then you will also get points after you actually fly. Those points depend on which type of fare you purchased(Wanna Get Away, Business Select etc) and is based on the $$ amount you paid. Those points will post to your SW Rapid Reward account about a day or two after your flights are completed. The key to getting those points is to make sure your Rapid Reward number was used when you purchased your flights. Hope that helps!

After reading this I checked my accounts, both Chase and Southwest RR and I have not received my 1000 points.

I also have not received my points and even emailed them about it and they said give it 6-8 weeks from after it is available for the last day. So if it ends Nov. 30, it's another 6-8 weeks after that! I did mine at least 1.5 mth ago.

Since it's been more than 8 weeks now, I am wondering if anyone has seen these points yet?

I got mine on this months statement it is listed in a separate catagory.. reg point and then 1000 promo points

Both, on credit card statement is was separated and on RR site they were combined as one amt.

OK, I actually have a small balance on the card from using my RR and paying for the check in thingy. My statement closes in a couple weeks, if it's not there at that time, then I will check with them.

My SW cc statement closed yesterday and when I checked today on chase website it said that 1000 points were sent to my RR account. Checked RR account, but they are not there as of yet.

I just checked my Rapid Rewards account. My bonus posted yesterday. The SWA Visa statement closed on 12/15. So check your RR account if you did this offer back when it first posted. It finally worked for me.
