Hi, we have been to Bonnet C reek many times over the years, however, have never stayed in a 2 bedroom in Building 5. We are looking for a room number for a 2 bedroom that faces the water in Building 5. Any recommendations? Thank you! We would like to stay higher than the first floor as well. :goodvibes

Based on my 2 stays (2012 & 2013) in Building 4 in a suite facing the lake/pools.

a Room Number ending with a odd number (09 etc) will have a balcony on pool/lake view side.

I have stayed on 9th & 14th floor ... IIRC. Both were nice. 14th floor maybe a little bit better
(pool activity noise).

I've been getting quote for Bonnet Creek and I was under the impression that you couldn't request a certain room but this makes me think you can. Which is correct? If you can request certain rooms, towers etc, which is best for a 2 bdrm deluxe (not presidential) room, please? I need all the help I can get on booking aroom there. I know there's a thread just on this resort but its terribly long.

The everyday customer like you and me is not allowed to request a certain building or room ahead of time. When you are checking in you can request a certain bu8ilding or view - not sure if it does any good.

They are not taking requests anymore. We just checked out last weekend and when we checked in they were telling everyone rooms were pre-assigned and they could not take any requests at all.

building but I am not sure it does any good. I would request a room in building 5 as they are currently refurbishing it.

Building 5 will be ready by the time that we are there. As for requesting the room, they have always been good to us in the past...we are owners, our home base is Bonnet Creek, and we have lots of points!;)

I would be very surprised if there was no way you could change an assigned room. We have stayed 6 times and I have always made it clear that no way I could ever stay above 5th floor due to fear of heights. If I turned up and was told pre assigned floor on 14 th for instance, I just wouldn't be able to stay there. Thankfully it seems very easy to get a lower floor.

The truth is somewhere in the middle, and it depends on what you want. Everyone and their brother wants an upper floor theme park view, and of course there just aren't that many of those. So, it is easier for the front desk to flatly refuse to consider it as there is no way to make those folks happy otherwise.

Regular owners and guests can't make advance requests, but VIP owners with enough "qualified points" can reserve specific rooms in advance. This is another reason why the front desk is hesitant to move people; they can't easily tell which reservations are pre-assigned to VIP owners and which are not, and moving VIP owners out of their assigned rooms used to be a big problem here.

Other requests that are easier to meet may well be possible. But, I would not assume that you'll get a request, no matter what it is or how easy it seems like it should be to grant it. For example, if the prior poster literally could not stay there if above the 5th floor, I'd try to book somewhere else. Just because they've always made it work in the past doesn't mean you'll be 100% certain to get it from now on.

I know that it may not work, but I am asking for some assistance with a room number for building 5 facing the water. Based on my past experiences, we have been luckily successful, so if anybody could help us out with this, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
