Bonnet Creek or Reunion??

Hey everyone! What's your preference - Bonnet Creek or Reunion?

If your trip is to attend events at the Walt Disney Parks, then Bonnet Creek is your best choice. If your trip is for other reason, then Reunion is out of the Disney bubble and Disney traffic.
Also Reunion only has 3 bedroom condos, so if your party is smaller - 1 or 2 bedroom - or bigger - 4 bedroom - then Bonnet Creek offers more choices.

So we booked Reunion, because we got a great deal on a three bedroom and we couldn't find a three bedroom at bonnet creek.. Does anyone have suggestions regarding reunion?

Any advice.. What to take? Any specific things in the area, etc..

I would check to see if your booking includes the Reunion waterpark. Not all accommodations have access to it.

Reunion resort is about 10 to 15 min drive from AK. entrance on Osceola

Parkway. ( There are 2 entrances )

It is a Huge community with Golf courses , open space, & plenty of walking areas .

There is a good eating place on the 11th floor of the Hotel .

Here you are supposed to see the fireworks of Disney.

We have driven through Reunion many times Just to show

people the many types of " Homes " that could be bought there

The consensus on tugbbs is that Reunion is a great upscale resort with beautiful golf courses and a primo water park, lazy river etc.

Because of Reunion' s decentralized and low density design, it may not be as good a choice for families with children, as the distance to the big water feature may require a long walk or a short drive.


For adults or families that don't mind the hike or for golfers it is a primo resort.

We are going to Disney next April and I chose Bonnet Creek over reunion because for our kids. We own wyndham points and the points cost for a 3 bedroom is almost the same between the two resorts

Reunion is great, they lust added another smaller watermark too. My kids love it there!
