I was browsing along and somehow came to Bonnet Creek Thread. I was flabbergasted at the information I was reading and photos posted in comparison to what you get on site with DW. I am a totally Newbie and have no idea how to book a room there. What do you suggest for someone who wants to stay there during September? I don't want a timeshare, just want to stay there! lol.

Thank in advance y'all!

You can use vacation strategy(not sure of web site) or www.vrbo.com. On vrbo you'll have to go to central Disney on the Florida map and go thru the list and you should find many at Bonnett Creek. You can compare prices and see reviews. We've stayed there twice and loved our stay each time.

An easy way to start is to look at all the offerings on ebay. There are hundreds of Bonnet Creek reservations available for purchase on there. Plus you can check the past history of sales to see what the going prices are.

I emailed Vacation Strategy for a quite with my dates and number of nights. I got a phone call later that day, was happy with the quote, and accepted. They sent an invoice for the deposit, which I paid through Paypal.

They've been easy to get ahold of and very friendly. My trip isn't until April so obviously I can't give a final review but I've been very happy with them so far.

Have stayed 6 times (see my signature) every time booked with Ken and Denise Price at www.vacationupgrades.com
I really cant recommend highly enough. My best friend and brothers family have also stayed and love as much as me.
Cant wait to book for next year.

I was a Newbie 2 weeks ago as well. There are pros and cons to staying there that you need to weigh.

1. For booking, you can use eBay or some of the other rental places. Many people have points they are trying to use or run it as a business. redweek.com, eBay, Ken Price as mentioned previously, vrbo.com.

2. Pros: You get a much bigger room for the price. WBC has plenty of activities and amenities that are not at DW resorts. The money saved staying here is king. DHS and Epcot are 5 minutes away. AK and MK are only about 10 minutes. All of which are faster to drive to than Disney buses. You can view MK and Epcot fireworks if you are in the right rooms in the right tower.

3. Cons: I think you need to have your own vehicle. This also brings in the $18 per day parking fee at DW unless you are an AP holder. You miss out on EMH, but I didn't miss those any way. You do not have that Disney vibe there. That is not a big deal because less than 5 minutes away you can go to Boardwalk to get as much as you want if you choose.

I highly recommend WBC! We have used Vacation Strategy before, once last February and we will be going again in a few weeks. We like to swim and enjoy the resort since we're from up north and a part of the whole experience for us is simply enjoying the warm weather. We liked WBC so much that we are spending three days just at the resort and only doing two theme park days (MK and Legoland). This was what my kids chose, so if you're die hard Disney every day, watch out ;) We're staying there for the price of a value with a lot more amenities. I need a hot tub ;)
