We are going to dlrp for 1st time during bonfire season

does it be busy at that time of year .

my understanding is that the bonfire and fireworks are at the village lake?

just wondering how busy it gets , and how busy the parks will be during this period

thanks

well I dont know if this is a signal for how busy it isnt, but when I last looked at booking a package that time the prices were the cheapest you could get so maybe it isnt that busy.

:cool1: :cool1:

thanks for that

im hoping it is quiet lol

I was there Tue - Fri last year & DH was there Tue - Fri in 2006 at that time. The parks were not busy & we got a great view of the fireworks sitting on a bench near the front of the Hotel New York. I really wanted to go that week this year too, but DH couldn't get off work. As the week goes on, more & more Christmas decorations appear each morning.

As Karen says, it was quiet last year midweek; the only people around the lake on a Wed appeared to be English speaking (well, at least one lone German in the mix) ;)

I was frankly surprised at HOW quiet it was as the show was quite spectacular. And I too had a front row place even though I only arrived about 5 minutes before the show.
