So I scored an adr for 7:45 breakfast for Bon Voyage. I already have my daughter signed up for pirate adventure cruise at beach/yacht that leaves at 9:30. Check in begins at 9:15. I know I'm cutting it close here but is it doable? I usually give 90 minutes for adrs although I find it is more like 75. How far is the walk from boardwalk to bayside marina at beach/yacht? I'm super excited about this adr as I know DD will love it.

You could help yourself a bit by getting to the restaurant before they open and being one of the first groups to check in. They seat all of the first few time slots on a first come, first seated basis. Also - pick out what you want to eat before you get there. The menu is online and there are lots of pictures. When the waitress /waiter walks up to explain the choices , tell her/him you are ready to order. Those two things could easily knock 20 or so minutes off of your breakfast time. We loved that meal - it is our favorite character one.

I was planning on getting there early. We are staying at BWV so I figured we could get there early. Do they open at 7:30? Or earlier? Touring plans found the adr for me and I was super excited that I didn't have to cancel the pirate cruise because my daughter has begged to do one for a while.

Our reservation was for either 7:40 or 7:45. I can't remember. We got there around 7:20. The doors were open, people had checked in and were waiting in the seating area at the front of the restaurant. At 7:30, they started calling names - by the order you had checked in. We were seated by 7:35.

Also - ask for the check early. Unless they are running horribly behind, you should have plenty of time.

The walk from Trattoria to the YC marina is about 10 minutes tops. If you are heading out of Trattoria around 9 am, you will be fine. If you see a Friendship boat at BWI heading to DHS, you can hop on that as well as BC/YC is the next stop. But if a boat isn't right there, I would start walking.

I would place a warning on the boat strategy. To me, the unofficial motto of the Disney Naval Fleet is "we take 40 minutes to get you anywhere that you can walk in 10." We have walked onto boats that were ready to shove off only to have them stuck in holding patterns because of problems with other boats, right of way issues, and just seeming to not care how long anything took. The only way I plan on using Disney water transportation again is if the sidewalks are actually on fire.
