Boma's & birthday

It is my sister in laws birthday the night we dine at Boma's. Will they do anything special for her? If so, when should I inform them?

I've never done a birthday at Boma, but in geenral you should always note special occassions on your PS (or Advanced Reservation now). Then when you arrive, just remind the person at the front about it.

We love Boma's, but as it's a buffet, I'm not sure what they could do.

I told the lady when making my PS and DH received a signed card with all the people's signatures working that night in their native languages. Plus, it was SOOOO tasty to eat there!

We went on our 1 year anniversary and happened to mention it to the server in conversation. To our surprise, she brought out a lovely dessert sampler with "Happy Anniversary" written on it in chocolate. We definitely didn't need the extra desserts as there were so many as a part of the buffet but they gave us a few different cookies and chocolates that weren't part of the buffet and the thought was really sweet (pardon the pun)!!
