which would you choose and why?

We're heading over to ALK after our day at AK on the way to DTD (my best friend has never been to WDW and I really want her to see AKL)...anyway I would like to plan a dinner there as we'll be there around dinner time

so which would you choose, I'm excited for both and I just can't choose

We are not big buffet people so we ate at Sanaa back in June. It was our favorite meal of the trip, excellent service and the food was incredible. I know it may not be as authentic as some want it to be but we loved it! The tandoori lamb was awesome and the chai cream for dessert was perfect. We can't wait to go back.

Just an FYI Sanaa is at Kidani; Boma is at Jambo. Two different resorts. Kidani does not have the impressive lobby like Jambo.

Boma has more variety but we prefer Sanaa. It's my favorite casual dining restaurant at WDW. We've dined there 3 times now, Boma more than that, but Sanaa is a better experience.

I like both, but I prefer Sanaa. It's a much more relaxed experience. Boma is hectic and loud, Sanaa is calming. And I just find the food at Sanaa better.

I feel like Sanaa has a pretty limited menu. We normally don't like dinner buffets but LOVE Boma. It is fantastic. I would look over the menus. Boma has African flavors as well as typical American food.

For a first time visit I would say Boma because of the larger variety and everyone can has plenty to choose from. We are doing Sanaa on our next trip cause everyone like Boma so much so I felt like they could make an informed decision on something to eat at Sanaa. That's the nice things about buffets you can try so many different things and if you don't like something just go get something else.

While I prefer Sanaa for its delicious menu and quieter atmosphere, I think that for a first visit Boma might be the better choice. Not only do they have some unique flavours in addition to the usual buffet fare, but you and your friend would have the opportunity of exploring the public areas of Jambo House.

Been to both many times. Given your circumstances, I would choose Boma for dinner. I love Sanaa for lunch, (great animal viewing and food), but Boma is great for dinner. Visit the AKL and take advantage of the great food at Boma, the fabulous gift shop and the awesome vibe of AKL Jambo.

Have been to both - we enjoyed Sanaa so much last time that we went back before we left for a repeat visit - it is not an option not to go back next year

We definitely agree. My wife hates buffets but would eat twice at Boma on our annual visit to Disney if I let her.

We really enjoyed our meal at Sanaa but I would agree with people who commented that the menu is a bit limited. We did have a fantastic view of the animals and I absolutely loved the tapioca pudding I had for dessert.

Agree :thumbsup2

However, if you do choose Sanaa, you MUST order the bread service!
