Boma / Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade question

Hi,

We're thinking about hitting Boma for dinner after Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade and I have a couple of questions...

1. Is the AKL within walking distance of AK or do we have to jump on a bus?

2. What time should we make ADR?

3. Does Boma get really busy after the parade is over and AK closes?

Make an ADR for Boma. It gets busy. Make it for about a half hour to an hour after the parade ends if that's when you plan on leaving AK.

You will need to take a bus to AKL. This is the shortest bus ride on WDW property. If you get there early, take some time to check out the resort, or have a drink in the lounge.

We did exactly that last Nov. We loved the parade and then hopped on the bus to AKL and had dinner at Boma. We had an earlyish seating, around 5:30 or 5:45. I think it was too early. By the time we were done eating, it was dark out and we couldn't check out the resort as we had hoped. So, I would make your seating a little later. Then you can watch the parade and get to AKL and check it out before dinner, while it is still light out.
