Boma Kids Offerings

Not that I recall. There' chicken strips, fries and Mac 'n cheese. The main food is basically roasted meat and root vegetables (i.e. potatoes), so it's not as exotic as it seems.

FWIW, I'm an incredibly picky eater, and it's my favorite restautant in WDW.

Boma has the standard kids section that most Disney buffets have: chicken strips and fries, pasta, meatball, sauce, etc. I don't think I've ever seen pizza there, though.

However, as the PP mentioned there are good choices from the rest of the buffet -- roasted chicken, rice, fruit, salads. And the dessert section is perfect for children. Lots of small bites like zebra domes, fruit tarts, cookies, brownies, etc.

I just looked at my pictures I think they had from my horrible pictures. Spaghettie and meatballs, mac and cheese, chicken fingers, PBJ sandwiches, and fries. My son however ate 3 plates of peanutbutter rice and chicken. The dessert and fruits were his favorite here in all the dinners we had. He really loved the fruit tarts.

I remember seeing lots of adults at the kids counter getting spaghetti and meatballs, mac n cheese and chicken strips, and I thought why go to an African themed food buffet then ? My kids ate off the adult section , however they are 10, 11, 17. They did try the kids spaghetti and meatballs though.:goodvibes Its my favorite WDW buffet of all time. We ate there twice. The chefs are really friendly.

Thanks for the info! I wish my daughter would eat something other then cheese pizza...but she is very picky and vegetarian. I may just feed her before we go at Mara.

I forgot to add earlier, the chefs at Boma can sometimes whip up a special vegetarian meal. It's not a guaranteed thing, but I've seen several DISers mention that they were able to ask for a vegetarian option. That may not be much help if your DD only likes cheese pizza, but depending on her age, you may want to just go for it and see if she can find something to eat.

Worrying about what your kiddo will or won't eat on a vacation can be stressful. Boma and AKL are both wonderful, and I hope you and your family get a chance to enjoy them.
