We have a dinner ADR for BOMA this June. We are a family of 4 with DD9 and DD5. What can anyone tell me about their experience here? Is it a fun/good place for kids?:confused3 Can you see any animals from the restaraunt? Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.:worship: We wanted to try something new and thought this sounded good.:)

We tried Boma in January and really enjoyed it. There are many exotic dishes on the buffet that were fun to try, and the food was really, really delicious. They also have a variety of "kid friendly" dishes (like mac n' cheese!) for those kids who are less than adventurous. Certainly no one will go hungry!

I'm afraid I can't tell you whether or not you can see any animals; it was pitch black outside when we ate there so I couldn't tell what the windows were overlooking!

We went last July and took our 3 kids...DS 16, DS 13 and DD 9 and they loved it. We are going back again this year as well. They can't wait! We didn't see any animals from the resturant itself but before eating walked around and saw some. It's a beautiful place. Well worth it. :)

on our last trip(august 09) we went with a 13 and 3 year old,the restaurant is beautiful and there will be plenty of things to suit the kids and the kid in all of us. Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the excellent reviews!:thumbsup2 I am happy now that we are booked for this one. It should be fun!

Our entire family loves this restaurant - it is the only TS that we have done all 3 trips and comes as a special request from my 11 year old. All 3 of my children love it DS 11, DS 6, and DD 4. DS 11 says it is one of his favorites which is quite funny because I would say he is a pretty picky eater. Love BOMA

Took my nephew when he was 6, we went out to the viewing area and playground past the pool while we waited to be paged for dinner. We returned to the restaurant just as the pager went off. We had dinner around 6pm after spending the afternoon at the AK park. That plan worked very well for us.

Last year he was about 8yo and we had breakfast there twice; he describes Boma as AWESOME so that sums it up pretty well.

I say definitely keep the ressie, come really hungry as there is so much to try.

Boma is so good, :lovestruc the soups and dessert. Definitely give yourself enough time to walk around to view the animals. You could also check out the storytelling at the fire pit, which I believe starts at 6:00 pm.
