We have eaten at BOMA for dinner before and really enjoyed it. We are staying at AKL this spring and I was wondering how it was for breakfast? Anyone eaten there? What did you think compared to other WDW breakfast buffets? :D

Thanks for your opinions!

I haven't eaten there but I'd love to find out too.

We've done both breakfast and dinner- and they're both wonderful (IMHO)!!

DH loves their coffee press pot even more than the press pot at Kona Cafe... and he knows his coffee!

The breakfast items also are African spiced, but there is the kids buffet with scrambled eggs and such for the more timid. We really enjoyed it- I'm just sorry that I didn't add it to my itinerary when we were there last month!!

Enjoy...

It's the best breakfast I've ever had! They have a huge selection. I love the juice, it's called frunch (a combination of lemonade, pineapple juice, guava juice, orange juice, and papaya juice). Be aware that this is not a character breakfast. I was there once when a mother took a fit when she found out there were no characters.

I think I'll make a PS! :Pinkbounc

I know there are no characters there, but for 2yo DD's sake...I have scheduled 1 character meal each day! :earboy2:

Can you tell me a little bit more about what was really yummy? I am just becoming a breakfast person, so I am scheduling breakfast PS's every morning! :cool1:

I do love my coffee too! :drinking1

Fabulous breakfast! Our favorite! Love the omelet station!!! The breakfast sweets are great, too. And that juice........... yum!!

I think Boma has the best breakfast at WDW...because they have the usual stuff PLUS some exotic things, too! they have a make your own omelette section...where you tell the chef what you would like. they have the usual scrambled eggs, pastries, etc. They also have this DELICIOUS Corned Beef hash dish that has some african flavors in it...I thinkk it is called "bobotie." Right next ti it was a curry flavored meat dish. It was awesome, too! they have a section with warm breakfast cereals, including yummy quinoa that is cooked like a porridge...and kind of sweet. Right next to it is something called "pap" which is like grits.

Really, this is the best breakfast because there is so much to choose from. Just an FYI..the pressed pot of coffee is extra added to the bill...I think it is $6 or $7...but it is well worth it!

Enjoy!
