Boma-Do I need Priority Reservations

Hi all....do you need priority reservations to eat at Boma's for either dinner or the breakfast buffet? We will be staying at AKL for 2 nights during our week long vacation in July........

If you need reservations what is the time window? 60 days, 30 days? Thanks!!!

YES!!! Boma is one of the most popular restaurants on WDW property, with sometimes there being waits of 30 minutes even with a PS. Boma is a 120 day PS restaurant!

I would say yes but if you're not going during a busy time of the year, you don't have to call that far ahead in advance. Last May, I called three days before we wanted to go on a Saturday and had no problems getting a PS. When we showed up at Boma, there were several groups without a PS and were told that they would have to wait an hour. They looked puzzled because the restaurant was only 1/2 full ... Even with a PS, we still had to wait 10 minutes. It's a great buffet ... I hope you decide to go

They highly recommend them. We tried going thie past Sunday night, and the wait was an hour and a half for standby. Needless to say, with a 2yo, we ended up at Mara with Cheeseburgers and Pizza! HTH!

When DH and I were there two years ago and arrived for our 6pm PS we heard them tell someone in line right before us that they would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour with a PS. I was like yeah...thank goodness I have a PS. DH and I only had to wait about 10 minutes before we were seated with a PS. Eventhough you're going during a slow time, I would have the PS just in case. ENJOY!!

...make a suggestion? Try making your PS for an "odd" time, like an early dinner (say, 4:45PM). By the time you are actually seated and settled in, it probably will be after 5PM, anyway. Just be sure to eat a late brunch, or an early lunch so that you will be hungry again around this time....enjoy!! (DON'T forget to try the coconut tirimisu ~ YUMMY!!)
