Boma called to confirm ADR???

Boma called MIL 2 weeks out to confirm our dinner ADR for 9. It seems like I've read about Boma doing this to others here on the DIS, but that no other restaurants do this. I don't know if it is the party size or just something Boma does.

Anyone? Bueller?

We ate there at the end of October, party of 4. No calls to confirm the reservation. Maybe it is only for larger parties?

We have an ADR for 11 for 7 December. I haven't had a call but then I am in Australia.
