Boma Breakfast vs. Donald

Other than character interaction is the Boma buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge comparable to Donald’s Safari breakfast at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom? The ALLEARS menu at Boma looks great so I'm hoping

Donald’s Safari Breakfast was our favorite breakfast last year but we’re staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and if Boma is just as good I would consider cancelling on Donald and starting out later for our day at Animal Kingdom.

Although Boma's is really good, we prefer the food at Tusker because that buffet has so many more non-traditional items. Boma's is more traditional. It's still very good though.

We love both but Boma does have more selection and Boma you can get eggs made to order and have more fruits selection. When we stayed at AKL we ate Boma breakfast 2x and really enjoyed ourself but we did go to Tusker House too for our son. Enjoy. There is a food review by MickeyNicki and has pictures of the food selection...

Hope this helps...when we went they did have more fruits selection, they had mango. Hope this helps.

I'm surprised it's not the other way around based on what I've heard about Boma

I was talking about the blintzes, the quiche and the frittatas that Tusker offered. I'm not a meat and egg type of breakfast eater so I appreciated these other items that Tusker had. I can eat scrambled eggs at home but I have no idea how to make a frittata or blintzes!

I liked Donald's, but I felt that Boma was better and with a much larger selection. I would choose Boma over Donald's hands down, as long as I didn't need to see the characters.
