Boma breakfast - day of arrival

I fly in to MCO tomorrow; arriving at 9:30am if my flight is on time. My friend is picking me up at the airport. We wanted to try to grab a late breakfast (10:45am) at Boma. I won't have a checked bag, so once I'm off the flight I just need to head out to the passenger pick up area. Is it unrealistic to think we could make it to a 10:45am Boma reservation if we go straight there from MCO when my friend picks me up? Deciding whether or not to book a reservation now & risk getting charged the no show fee if we don't make it.

You might make it. But I think it will be pretty tight. You need the flight to be on time, you need to run like a maniac, and you need light traffic.

don't do it. When you get off the plane, if you are on time, call then and see if there is availability. Too many things can go wrong including a delayed flight, regardless of the weather

unless you are willing to eat the fee if you don't make of course

If all the stars aligned you could make it. But I wouldn't chance it. I've never ever had a problem walking up to, or getting a same-day reservation by calling, for Boma.
