Anyone ever take a airboat ride while vacationing in Florida?

My hubby says it looks really cool and we checked out the website for the Boggy Creek Airboat rides.

Just wondering if anyone has ever done this...

Any info would be great :)

We did it last June and really enjoyed it (me, DH DD,11, DD14). It was only about 30-45 minutes, but we saw alligators, lots of birds, and they let you pick a lotus flower. It was different and fun. They have discount coupons in the Orlando coupon books or you can print it on-line. I would definately do it :D

I rate Boggy Creek airboats very highly, and the ride is a great experience for all ages. Try to time your ride for a week day early in the day (there is less boating traffic and more wildlife), while you might also consider the Boggy Creek night-time safari evening at Southport Park. It is a pricey evening out but includes dinner, native American and gator-handling demonstrations and a 45-minute ride - at night! Look up www.gatortours.com for more details.

Thank you so much for the great reviews!

It sounds like a really cool thing to try. My hubby loves wildlife and we have visited Gatorland twice now, so I thought the airboat ride would be fun. We'll be sure to be there early in the morning.

And thanks for the advice on the discount coupons, every little bit helps :)
