We have ADR's for breakfast on 8/20/19 at 10:25. Its the only time I could get an ADR in our entire 2 week stay. I was super excited to get this res BUT... I started seeing reviews.. and they were anything but good. We have never eaten here.. so I don't know what to expect as far as food quality or even experience. My question to you is, would it be worth visiting once just to say we did it.. or should I book another restaurant for breakfast? This is the only restaurant on my dining list that I am on the fence with...

We have never eaten breakfast at BOG but we have eaten there for lunch and for dinner. It is one of our favorites. The food has always been good. The atmosphere is what makes it special. I would certainly try it once.

Since you have never eaten at BOG, I think to see inside the castle for the theming is worth it. That said, I didn't care for the food. Both breakfast and lunch are 1 quick service credit. You aren't required to purchase a meal or entree during breakfast and lunch. A beverage and snack?

my advice look over the menu, if it sounds good to you, order a meal. If not, keep reservation and order a beverage and a dessert. (If you order one breakfast, the table is served some pastries to begin with at breakfast).

We really enjoyed our breakfast when we went. We had the open faced egg sandwich on French bread with brie cheese. The eggs were poached. Definitely worth it if you have the dining plan. I don't believe that I would pay for it out of pocket. Like the other person said, you don't have to order breakfast. You can just order a cupcake and something to drink.

If you've never been inside the castle, I would keep it. Since it's a QS, you can order as much or as little as you'd like (share an entree, just get drinks, etc.), so if you aren't particularly interested in eating a lot there, you could always just get something small so you can at least take a look inside.

We had a lousy lunch there exactly one year ago. I vowed never to return.

DD is insisting that we try it for dinner which is entirely different menu and not a quick service cafeteria vibe. If I am able to get a dinner reservation, I will give it a second chance, but I am really not excited about using 2 Table Service credits for it. I hope to be proven wrong.

If you get a reservation for dinner, I hope you enjoy it. We've done it before the prixe menu and loved it. Went last year, prixe fix with granddaughter (age 12), not a great experience at all. GD was a "picky eater" and was asking me what she should order. Waitress sat down and discussed menu with GD. Not a problem, actually thought nice!!!! Then my GD was served a iceberg lettuce slice for a salad, and a very small entree. I was confused and questioned waitress. Her reply was she's a picky eater, so I ordered her a child's meal. Thing is she charged us 2 adult credits for that meal!!! We won't be returning. And expected a n appropriate tip!!!

We eat lunch at BOG every trip, and it is still one of my favorites. We did breakfast before, and it was okay. It was nice because we were able to get into the West Wing, so we were happy. But with how much it costs now, I don't do breakfast unless all I'm eating is a cupcake.
That being said, I have been able to get BOG lunch the day of multiple times, so if you're interested in trying for lunch, I'd keep trying for an ADR. Their lunch is by far my favorite meal there.

We were not impressed with our breakfast at BOG. Lunch was better, but still nothing spectacular. We haven't been for dinner.

You could also consider keeping your reservation but just getting coffee and cupcakes rather than a full breakfast! You'd get to experience the ambience and try the grey stuff, without having to buy any dishes that don't sound appealing to you.

When we were there for lunch, we didn’t see any characters. I expected to at least see Belle and the Beast, although it would be fun to see Mrs. Potts and Chip. Anyway, at Cinderella’s Royal Table, we see princesses.

Will we see Belle and the Beast at dinner? I mean, for two Table Service credits, I would expect that.

There are no characters at breakfast or lunch. You can meet the Beast after dinner as you exit. Belle is not there.

You should definitely go once to see the inside because it is very pretty, but don't expect the food to blow you away. We went for lunch there 2 years ago and it was the worst meal we had our whole trip. It wasn't horrible food, but it was very disappointing after hearing how great BOG was. My husband was the most disappointed with his food and only ate half before sighing and pushing his plate away. And he's a garbage disposal! And let me tell you- they grey stuff is NOT delicious! Don't believe those dishes!

We've only eaten at BOG for dinner twice. The food was decent enough, but it was more for going for the ambience than the food. Last trip we actually skipped it in order to try out some different restaurants. Our trip next year our daughter wants to eat there again. I think I better check the dinner menu because it sounds like the menu may have changed a bit. It wasn't 2 TS credits when we went and I don't remember it being a set price for dinner. Our menus had prices next to the entrees.

We love it. The theming is awesome and we did like the food. The braised pork has been swapped out for chicken so we shall see how it is. We have lunch there on the 31st.

We have breakfast at BOG every trip. I love the meat and cheese board, and love the theming of the restaurant even more, but not as much as a PPO breakfast in the MK for less than $150 for five people! We have done the breakfast with the dining plan and without, and have been doing so since 2014 or 2015, so clearly it's a yes vote from me.

Breakfast at BOG is a great value on the dining plan, especially with a mimosa! My family really enjoyed our meals. If paying out of pocket, lunch is a better deal. If you were interested in a PPO reservation, keep checking closer to 20 August, I have consistently found last minute ADR's/changes for BOG for the times I originally wanted. Previous posters mentioned it, and I agree, you can always just get a drink or cupcake if you wanted to check out the castle. I grew up loving Beauty and the Beast, so this was an important an experience to me. I thought it was worth it, but don't need to go back every trip.

I’ve enjoyed breakfast and lunch there. I got the poached eggs and Brie sandwich and the roast beef sandwich on gf bread multiple times. Cupcakes are disappointing. Looking forward to a drink with my meal this year.
