BOG Table Size

I have a reservation for 7 people but we are a party of 8. Do they have tables for 7 or would we be at a table for 8? Which may mean we could squeeze in our 8th person? What do you think?

Which meal? Dinner not likely. Its a very sought after reservation so adding people may not be possible.

Breakfast and lunch, they book without thought or care to table size. They book to restaurant capacity, as it's QS and where you sit is your problem.

Dinner, I would expect you would either be at a larger table, or split to two tables with a party of 7 or 8.

No matter what, you'll need to call asap to update that reservation and hope they can allow one more. You won't be able to show up with a party of 8 and a reservation for 7.

They were able to combine our party of 3 and 7 and seat us all together.. we had to request it at checking and the hostess was surprised they could accommodate us

They may or may not be able to accommodate the 8th person. If there is no room then that person is out of luck.
