URGENT!!!!!!

If you made a ressie today for Be Our Guest via the automated system and WERE NOT PROMPTED TO GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO HOLD IT, you *MUST* call back the DINING line and speak TO AN AGENT by 10PM (WDW time) tonight or your reservation WILL BE CANCELED tonight at midnight when the system updates!

This restaurant requires a cc hold and any cc hold reservations (for all cc hold restaurants) that have no credit card information get automatically deleted from the system every night at midnight.

Thanks for the info!! On hold now waiting for an agent to add the credit card to the 2 ressies i got!

I was just coming to post this too.

I was able to get 11/28 at 7:30pm through the automated system!!!!

Then I stayed on the line because I wanted to see if I could get 12/2 instead. However, when I did get through with an agent (after 45 minutes on hold) she did say that YES the reservations DO require a CC hold, and they WILL cancel overnight unless a CC is used to reserve them.

She then tried to call that department (some sort of internal dining department) and she said the wait time to speak to them was 60 minutes. She suggested calling back later in the day to add the cc.

Guess it's more phone time for me. :scared1:

You just beat me to it--- apologies for my thread-- I just had to call, and re-book my ressie !!! Lucky, there was still a time slot availale !!~!

Good to know. I will call back this evening to have my credit card added.

I would call ASAP-- the CM that I just spoke with told me that the ressie never even went thru, and the time that I booked for was no longer available-
I was going to wait to call until I got home from work--- glad I didnt---

This is really horrible !!

at first i was really mad because the automated system didnt recognize my last name and made me wait for an agent for 90 minutes. I guess I got lucky because I spoke to an agent and they took my reservation and my credit card number. I should be okay right? The only people who have to call back are the ones who made it with the automated system?

thanks for posting this... phew...just called and added my credit card....it actually changed my confirmation #

this is ridiculious ... i cant get through again.

anyone have a number that works? both reg line and TA line seem down or busy.

I can find no official word of this on any Disney owned site. Where is this information coming from...to a specific by 10 pm? I am very disappointed...glitches happen but I made my reservation at 8am and six hours later not a peep from Disney that it is wrong...I have confirmation email though!

The CM I spoke to a few minutes ago confirmed my automated ADRs would have been cancelled late tonight. Adding my cc# was a breeze though. If anyone is truly concerned, they should definitely call. It took me 29 minutes on hold to get through, but only a few minutes to fix things.

Thats odd, it never even asked for my e-mail. (I did call back and get the cc info added)

Oh boy the overnight cancellations is going to lead to a lot of angry uninformed people rushing the lines again tomorrow. At least we added our CC so it won't happen us.

You're assuming they find out by tomorrow and it isn't a case of angry people rushing the podium when their confirmation numbers aren't honored at the restaurant.

True. That is more likely to happen. I feel sorry for anyone who was on the redial-athon and doesn't know about the CCs.

And if they try to squeeze them all in still, it will make everyone at BOG very unhappy.

They really need to stop the system from auto-cancelling while they call everyone without a CC guarantee. Or just let them be without the CC guarantee. It's not like people are going to no-show in big numbers. It's the hottest ticket in Disney right now.

That would be the best (calling the people before the cancellation) but I would be surprised if that actually happened.

Does anyone know the guest services number? I was messing around on the my reservations page and realized a phone number had never been added to some of my ADRs I made over the phone (or the number was added in wrong). Would like to avoid the chaos on the dining line. If I have to I'll call back in a few days to do it but I would like to do it sooner than later.

It is hot ticket but I've seen a dozen or two posts about people making mutliple ADR's for BoG till they can make up their mind and cancel. if those went thru the IVR why bother to cancel?

FWIW I made one client later this afternoon thru the IVR did not get CC asked I will be calling to add it on the TA line. The IVR clearly made me listen to a recorded spiel that a CC is required to hold the ADR and if I wnated to proceed with it. For people to listen to that then not be asked to put in a CC and assume all is well and they are the exception to the rules is not very smart to me.
