I am trying to book a reservation for party of 5 at BOG during our April Trip but to no avail. Looking first thing in the AM as soon as the dates are available. Tried changing size of party and time but that didnt work. What am I doing wrong and what is your (Anyone) suggestion.

KJ

I saw on another board the system may be down.
If that's not the case, try the Touring Plans reservation finder.

BOG can be hard to book, for any meal but especially dinner. Get a free Basic Access account at Touring Plans. Them you can use their reservation finder service to help you get a reservation.

Are you trying on your phone or on the computer? Try the MDE app on your phone. That seems to be working. The website appears to be completely down.

Sorry but not familiar with the acronym for MDE. I am using the WDW website to book the dinner plan

Are you trying today? Their site has been down all morning.

If you mean you've been trying for a couple of days, I doubt you're doing anything wrong. It is a very difficult ADR to get.

Yeah for a couple of days. I normally get up at around 0500 every morning and try to book the resv. before I take care of my GSD and my son (School). Was going to call but not sure if that would work.

It’s very hard to get. You can keep checking or use the reservation finder. Don’t give up hope though. I’m always able to get it with a little perseverance.

They are usually booked full so don't expect to be able to walk up.

As PP have mentioned, keep checking the website and use the touring plans reservation finder. I've heard many many people eventually getting their reservation, but it may take some time.

Also, I'm not sure if someone clarified, but MDE stands for My Disney Experience, which is the smartphone app. If you don't already have it, I recommend downloading it.

Getting BOG is hard for dinner, I used touring plans reservation finder and mouse dining - I ended up with a late breakfast which we really enjoyed. Mouse Dining found the reservation that we eventually kept. I will say as you get closer to the date, more and more reservations will open up. By the time our trip rolled around, I must have had 8-10 different options between breakfast/lunch. I never saw a dinner open up until the day before our trip. Good luck, just gotta be diligent and try all the time. And I do think if you use the My Disney Experience App you may have better luck since you can check on the go. Just gotta be diligent and REALLY fast when you get an alert of an open ADR so you can jump on it.
