BOG reservation and missing opening ceremony?

I have a BOG reservation for 9:10 AM and I know the opening ceremony at the castle begins at 9 AM. I also know they are pretty close to one another, correct? I don't want to miss the ceremony, do I need to cancel the BOG reservation, or will I be fine?
