Would it be worth it to book an 8:55am reservation for breakfast at BOG on a 9am open day? Would I be able to get into the park early to take some emptier pictures or will I be in the normal rope drope line?

You'd have to weigh your options to see if it would be worth it for you.

BoG at 8:55am to get a few pictures of the park without many guests beforehand.

Or no BoG and take part in getting rides in before the day gets busy.

If you do do BoG I recommend getting there early and getting in the park as soon as you can. Show up at like 8am to get in. Also pay very close attention to the hours. If the date you're thinking about is pretty far out (60 days or more away from today), then for MK to have a scheduled 9am morning, they very well could move EMH to that morning or move the park opening to 8. Which if they do that would ruin your pictures of a near empty park

I recently did an 8:20 at BOG with a 9am opening. We got there at 745ish and they let us in. At that time, there were a decent amount of people entering just like us. None of our pics on Main St are people free, but we do have some completely empty ones from other areas along the way and Fantasyland. With an 8:55, I have no idea what time they'll let you in, but I hope it's early with everyone else. They have to let you in in time for you to make your ADR, so it should be before the rope drop crowd. Mine train will also be running a little before 9.

Does anyone know if they ever let you into BOG early? We have an 8:45 ADR and my plan was to (preorder) get in and have our family split something to eat super quick and get out.

We were eating by the time our resv time hit, which was 8:20. We pre-ordered, so that helped a lot. I think we checked in around 8:05-8:10. We weren't really paying attention until I noticed when they brought our food.

I hope someone can give you a more up to date answer, but when we went they did let us go right in as soon as the restaurant actually opened, which was at least 35 min before our ADR. And they let us into the park early along with everyone else who had pre-opening ADR's. At that time, when they let people in was hit or miss, I don't know if that's changed now or not.

thanks!

Welcome! I wanted to clarify; when they let people into BoG was hit or miss, to my knowledge they do let people into the park early before their actual reservation time.

Thanks everyone. We decided against the early BOG reservation. Figure it's better to go for RD and early rides. I was lucky to snag an 8:25pm reservation instead. We'all do apps, drinks and desserts and hopefully be done and out for Wishes.
