BOG Pre-Order on Dining Plan

I'm trying to do BOG pre-order and it's not clear. Can someone tell me if the 'sides' that come with the kids meals at BOG (including a chocolate chip cookie) count as their dessert for the dining plan or do they get a dessert in addition to that? Thanks.

One of the "sides" is their dessert at lunch. They do not get a cupcake.

We have the deluxe dining and a reservation for BOG for lunch. With the deluxe dining, we get an appetizer, so when we go to pre-order, if we choose a french onion soup along with a sandwich and dessert, will the soup be considered an appetizer?

Doubt it, since it's QS for lunch. You don't get an appetizer with QS meals, and quite frankly, it would be a complete waste of a dining credit to use a TS credit for a lunch at BoG (if you can even do it).

You will have to pay out of pocket for an appetizer at lunch, because BOG is considered a counter service for breakfast and lunch and you don't get an appetizer at counter service restaurants, even with the Deluxe plan.
