We have BOG at 8:35 on a 9am opening. How early will they let us into the park and will they let us check in at the restaurant early? Also, if you pre-order your food how long does it take? Just wondering if we'll be able to have any chance of being out and in a line by 9.

1. Depends on the CMs staffing the gates that day. Figure 8:15-ish. Maybe earlier.
2. Likely.
3. Half hour, or so.
4. Maybe, depending on too many variables to fully predict.

And don't know when you are going but keep an eye on the Park Hours as many have been dismayed to have park hours extended to 8 am, therefore losing PPO and precious park time.

Thanks for your reply! That actually happened to me for my first reservation and after weeks of trying I finally got one for 11/29 which still has park opening at 9.

We had one at 8:30 and they let us in the front gate at 8 or maybe even a few minutes earlier. I think it just depends on the CM. Same thing happened with a Bippity Boppity Boutique appointment, we were let in pretty early before our appointment.

We did one, and the FP+ kiosks were open at Philharmagic. However, it was also an early morning magic day, so I don't know if they were open for those people or not. We did use the kiosks.

If someone in your party has a smart phone, the FP kiosks don't need to be open.
You can book at any time.

Only on an account with ticket media though. That's why we were using a kiosk.

Assuming it's a 9AM park opening, with a PPO ADR you'll be let in at 8 and likely before. Last PPO reservation I had (this past July), our photos on main street are time stamped starting at 7:47.

I would ignore the actual time of your BOG reservation and go straight there once they let you in the park and check in.

We also have 840 BOG on 11/29. It's an EMM day so opening at 9 won't change.

You can have tickets on one account, and a separate account or magic bands that do not have tickets.

I think they (and the previous poster asking about the kiosks) are talking about making same day fast passes with tickets/magic bands that aren't being used to enter the park. That loop hole cannot be used except at in park FP kiosks.

I have done this twice.
Get to the park gates no later than 7:30. Earlier if you want to be first in line. Go to the far left and a CM will check you in on her Ipad. You will enter the park at 7:45 for all PPO ADRs. Go right to BOG at 8. All PPOs get in. Preorder your food. You will be out before nine if you follow this plan.

So if they do extend EMH to 8am (I'll be there Friday June 9) then it doesn't help to have a PPO res?

That's about the size of it.
They can decide to move up the opening time (regular hours, EMH, EMM) of MK on any day.

If you want on 7DMT before the RD crowd, you'll have to be out and in that line by 8:45. That's when they let the PPO crowd through the 7DMT line. Was there at EMM yesterday and watched it. (For a 9 am opening)
