i have a reservation for 10 soon from what I’m reading they changed the way you pay on the dining plan it 3 room and we want to pre order is there any way to separate the people with out losing the reservation or wait and see if they can do it down there in 3weeks

You can only use one method of payment (one credit card or one dining plan) per reservation if you pre-order.

You can
1) just put it all on one dining plan and figure out paying each other back over the course of the trip
2) skip pre-order and pay on 3 different dining plans there by waiting in line to order or
3) set up a TP reservation finder for a single person adr and try to book two more overlapping, one-person reservations under accounts associated with the other 2 dining plans you'd like to charge. You'd keep the 10 person adr on your account until the other two folks get the single reservations on their accounts, then decrease your size to 8 when you know you've got the other two. When they go to preorder, the single person reservation can book as many meals as they'd like for whichever members of the group should charge to their dining plans. Option 3 certainly isn't guaranteed, but it doesn't hurt to try and, if you can't get the reservations, then you still have the 10 person backed up.

I would do either option 1 or option 2 from above. If we have more than one room we find it easy to make the correction in dining credits later one, so we would just preorder, but if you think it will be confusing for the three families, then just order when you get there. It will take longer, but you will not need to track who owes who.

Thank you guess I’ll wait to get down there will be going to magic kingdom before our reservation which is our last day maybe they can figure out how to separate them is the credit taken out of who made the reservation or can it come from any one on the reservation the room are 2 pp 3pp and5 pp

The credits can come from anyone, they don't process payment until you're at the restaurant.

Just curious if you have actually done this. It clearly states on the reservation that you cannot split the payment, and others have posted from experience that payment has to come from ONE room's DDP.

Since this is your last day, I wouldn't risk not being able to split the payment and forego the preorder. They could ask you to pay OOP and then you have all those credits unused.

Will be down there for 9days have magic kingdom for 3 days of them the first day middle and last I was thinking to stop and ask them the first day to make sure how to do it and what is possible .

I didn't mean they could split the payment between rooms, just that it doesn't matter which room the credits come from. They don't need to come from the lead guest's room. Sorry, I could've worded it better.

Thank you I think I understand I was worrie since I made the reservation it would have to be mine which is the two so I can have the 5pay and it would be easier to pay back during the week
