BOG lunch

Has anyone ordered lunch items with minor changes, like leaving the Dijon mayo off of the turkey sandwich. I assume we would not be able to pre-order if we need to do this, correct? I would love to go there, but I know my DS will not like anything from the menu as is. TIA!

When you go into the pre order page and click on what you want like the turkey sandwich, there are options like Dijon mustard, and the lettuce, tomato etc with check marks, You can leave off the mustard there, I just checked for you.

I see on your tracker that you leave for the Poly tomorrow!!!!! How exciting! We will also be staying at the Poly (for the first time) in August 2016. Have a great time!

Thanks, it's actually on Friday, but the trackers from that site have been a bit wonky lately. I had a rotating one as we will be heading back to the Poly in March for the same daughter's spring break, but the rotating one seemed to freeze the dates and not count down. It said yesterday that I still had five days! I have got to start pulling clothes to pack but I'm still trying to figure the weather!

Also, when you check-in at BOG they will review your order with you and ask if you need to make any changes. My daughter didn't want the Dijon Mayo on her Turkey sandwich but wanted it on the side so she could try it. There wasn't an option for that on the pre-order page so we ordered it with no Dijon mayo. At check-in, we asked if they could put some on the side for her to try and they had no problem modifying the order.

Is it okay to totally cancel something off a pre-order or can you just tweak an existing menu item? We have pre-opening CRT for breakfast and might not be as hungry for our BOG late lunch.

I'm tentatively ordering a sandwich and soup but might only want one or the other depending on hunger.

I know you can order online basically up until you check in at BOG, so I would assume you can modify your order online up until that point as well. You will also have the opportunity to make changes to your order when you check-in with the CM at BOG. We did our order online the night before our ADR and then I changed something the next morning (a few hours before our ADR) and we also made a change with the check-in CM.

When you get the sandwich, just check that they did leave it off. They churn so many sandwiches out of there, it's easy to not get the ones with your modifications. I requested the onions left off of my roast beef sandwich and they forgot. It wasn't a big deal, I just picked them off.

When we checked in she noticed my tween daughter ordered kids grilled cheese and we were on dining plan. My dtr also wanted a cupcake shock I was going to pay out of pocket. She called the kitchen and got permission to change her meal to adult sized grilled cheese with side of fries instead of tomato soup. That way cupcake was included! She said they don't always allow that but never hurts to ask!
