BOG half hour before opening

For September, we have a BOG ressie at 8:30 and park opens at 9. If we show up at gate at 8 (when BOG opens), will they let us in early so we have a better chance of finishing breakfast in time for rope drop? Or will they likely hold us back? I don't want to ruin the experience by being antsy about making rope drop.

I just booked BOG breakfast at 8:25 for a day the park opens at 9. I'm hoping the same thing. Fingers crossed!

Although we have not done BoG, we have done Crystal Palace and CRT a number of times and this has always been the case. The folks at the park entrance are not the host/hostess of the restaurants. They are just CMs checking to see if you have an ADR. If you do, then in you go. Doesn't matter if your ADR is for 7:30 or 8:55.
