BOG FP+ Lunch - Anyone ever done this?

We scored a BOG FP+ for lunch during our trip. Since making that reservation, we've found a great deal on an off-site hotel room and are seriously considering cancelling our Pop Century reservation and staying off-property.

Does anyone know if canceling our hotel room will also cancel our BOG FP+? Or, will it function like other ADR's and still remain in the system?

not sure about the answer to BOG question
your FP+ reservations for the theme park attractions those will cancel out once you cancel your room reservation and you would have to start over on them. this happened to my SIL when she decided to stay offsite and cancelled her Disney room reservation. She did regret her decision to stay offsite as it was much more of a hassle to get back and forth than she realized

Really? I had no idea this would happen. I guess I assumed they were tied to my park tickets and not to my room reservation.

If you purchased park tickets separately then it shouldn't affect it, if the park tickets are included as part of the room reservation it will. If you are more than 30 days from arrival then I don't know how it would work as offsite guests can make FP+ 30 or less days from arrival. onsite guests can make them 60 days from arrival

You may want to ask on the theme parks board someone there will most likely have the answer for you

Okay, I'll ask there. Our tickets were purchased separately from our room reservation AND we are less than 30 days from our trip. So hopefully nothing will change on the FP+ end. But I will ask to be safe...
