I was able to get BOG dinner for 2 people at 5:35, I booked a separate reservation for 1 person at 5:25. If we all show up at the same time, will there be a problem us sitting together. I don't care if we have a table for 2 with an added chair. I'm hoping that with the time only 10 mins apart it will work. Has anyone been able to do this?

I don't think you'll be able to do that. You'll wait outside on the bridge until they call your reservation and you'll be seated at a table big enough for only 2 people and probably sitting next to other full tables as well. The 5:35 seating will definitely get seated after the 5:25. They won't let you pull up another chair to a 2 person table.
You can ask the host to sit the two groups of you next to each other , but be prepared for them to say no. If they oblige, you may have to wait a really long time. They won't hold an empty table while waiting for one to empty out next to it. You'll have to wait for 2 empty tables to open up next to each other at the same time, which might take a while.
It's all at a CM's discretion.

When you check in, ask to be seated together. The Castmembers will do their best, but there is no guarantee. However, dinner at BOG is a rare time when you have a good chance because at dinner this restaurant's capacity is based on the kitchen's ability to prepare and plate meals in a timely manner. Because it is a counter service at breakfast and lunch it has a much larger seating capacity at those meals with simpler menus and many more items that are premade. As a result at dinner they will not book all the tables because of the longer preparation and plating time required so there will be extra tables the castmembers can work with. This makes it easier for the castmembers to combine two reservations into one table.

Disney restaurants will not add a third chair to a two top. You would need a three or four top table to accommodate your group.

I actually know for sure this has been done. Just let the host/hostess know when you go to check in. You most probably wait a bit longer, but they WILL accommodate you.

I was hoping that since there are only three of us and 10 mins apart that either we are all at one table or two tables beside each other. Guess the worst that could happen is they turn us away and since we showed up wouldn't be a no show. We did BOG for breakfast last year on the dining plan and it was a great experience. Also doing lunch this year so will be back in the castle one way or another.

Have you tried changing your existing ADR for two to 3 people and then cancelling the ressie for 1? You can do that online or call; probably easier if you do it via telephone although both parties will need to be available to the CM. Course conference/merge calls are your friend for that potential issue.

At 180 days out that is all I could get for the three of us. Kept checking and checking but can't get a time for all three of us so went ahead with the 2 and 1 reservations.

Also when you are trying look for 4, not 3. It seems easier to get an even numbered ADR than odd. You will not be penalized for showing up with only 3.
Good luck!

Oh tried every possible combination. Was surprised that I could get 2 and then 1 with 10 minutes difference

I would call dining and explain what you did and try to see if they could combine the two tables into a party of 3. They may be able to pull some strings and help you over the phone, where you would not be able to do the same thing on the computer yourself. I also recommend the Touring Plans res finder.

Call. I rarely advocate for calling Disney (you'll be on hold for a long time), but since you have both reservations to accommodate everyone in your party and both reservations are within 10 minutes of one another, they should be able to combine these for you. I don't have personal experience with it at BOG, but they were able to do this for us at Park Fare about a year ago.
