BOG Advance Ordering

This seems like a silly question to me but I thought I read something about this (but I can't remember where)...

We have a lunch reservation for BOG in early August and today is the first day we can pre-order. I think I read that there are separate lines for those with reservations that pre-ordered and for those that didn't, and that the reservation line for those that didn't pre-order can get quite long.

Is this correct or did I misread something? It would be nice to wait and see what we're actually hungry for when we get there, but if we'll get our table much sooner by pre-ordering, I guess that's the better way to go.

If there are two separate reservation lines, how much of a wait will we be looking at if we don't pre-order?

We did pre-order for lunch. When we arrived, we were checked in and went directly to the seating area. Our food came out, just as we had ordered it, and it went off without a hitch.

Pre-ordering is definitely the way to go. You can order through the app or on the website on your phone. You can order up to 5 minutes before you check in. What I did one day is place the order on the bus on the way to MK. No one had to decide too far in advance, and it sure beat waiting in the long line to place the order. If you know you'll be in a slower moving line at some point, you can always order while waiting for a ride too.

You can order now and modify up until 5 minutes before you arrive, or as suggested before, order earlier in the day before your reservation. Just FYI, I had a terrible connection when I tried to place our lunch order while waiting to ride BTMRR in February, so maybe that's not the best place to try and order.

If I pre-order our lunch, can you customize our order? We like our sandwiches plain, so no condiments. For instance can the dijon mayo on the turkey sandwich be left off?

How soon before your reservation does the pre-ordering become available? On my last trip it was still in the testing phase and I got an email for it.

When I pre-ordered I was able to order the roast beef sandwich without the horseradish sauce on it.

Roast beef sandwich was good, I had it twice. DD loved the turkey sandwich and had it twice.

I just pre-ordered, and they did have an option to leave the Dijon off
