BOG 8:40am PPO Reservation

I have a quick question to those who recently been to the parks (this year).

I managed to snag an 8:40am ADR for BOG for MK opening at 9am no EMH either. I know I can be there 7:45am and check in with breakfast goers who have ADRs for 8:05, 8:15, etc. My question is, have you experienced getting seated earlier than your ADR? I want to finish my breakfast early to line up for 7DMT.

I will be grateful if people who have similar case, can share their experience. I read in Kenny the Pirate's website that they had an 8:40 ADR at BOG and were seated at 8am and managed to line up for 7DMT in time before rope droppers even got there. I am wondering if this is an isolated rare case or this is common.

You will order your food and sit down whenever you arrive. It is self seating. So arrive at 8 and you will be seated and out in time to ride 7DMT.

I am in a similar situation (820 AM reservation) and wanted to add on... should we pre order or would our food not be ready if we were able to enter at 8 am. I am not sure if I should try to be seated earlier and order when I get there or pre order. Thank you to the original poster! I was also wondering if we could be seated earlier than our ADR.

We will probably preorder too, just to be safe. At least, everyone will be decided already what they want to eat and not take up time standing at the podium deciding what to order.

Yes... I have experience with this multiple times.... We got in at 8 no matter when our PPO ADR was. The key is PPO.

Pre ordering food gets you in a different faster line to pay. You can even change your order at the last minute. They don't get your food ready until you pay, no worries! Enjoy!

We are going early November (on a Wednesday) and so far it is not an EMM morning. I keep checking park hours bc I do know they can change.

As far as I saw, EMM hours haven't been released, yet, for November.

Yes, you'll be able to get in and seated. Back in March, we had an ADR for 8:50. We got in with the early crowd at 7:45 and took our time strolling up Main Street to take pictures. We got seated around 8:15/8:20 and were finishing up with just enough time to get in a ride on 7DMT before the crowds arrived. It definitely helped that we pre-ordered our food (which you could do as late as walking up to the check-in desk).

I did an 8:20 reservation at BOG with preorder. We had a lovely stroll down Main St, a leisurely breakfast and still made it out just as the park opened and onto 7DMT

I have an 8:05 PPO BOG ADR and now the park opens at 8:00. Could I enter the park with the ADR crowd, be at or near the front of a line for 7DMT, ride once or twice, then get to my ADR about 8:20 or 8:30?

An 8:05 ADR, on a morning when the park opens at 8, is no longer a PPO ADR.

Exactly. But it still gets me into the park 15 minutes ahead of non adr folks. I want able to get a 7DMT FP+, so my plan WAS to eat fast and get in line for it. Now I am wondering how late I can be to my ADR?

The only people getting in the park earlier for their breakfast reservations are those with PPO reservations. Since the park opens at 8, your 8:05 ADR is not PPO.

If the park opens at 8am, with the new opening show at Cinderella Castle and the new procedure for this, all park guests (with or without breakfast ADRs) are let in half hour before opening and are allowed to stroll Main Street. Your 8:05am ADR on an 8am opening park day is not going to put you ahead of the game, sorry.
