we have a reservation for 2 adults at 7:30 at BOG, if I was to show up an hour earlier to get a table would they let us in?

With Disney releaseing more dates for After Hours for AK on the same night our BOG diner. I want to go to both.

It’s always free to ask them when you get there but be prepared for the answer to be “no,” and if that’s the case you could be paying the $10 pp no-show fee (unless you decide to stay for the reservation which will eat into the DAH event).

It’s a safer bet to keep trying to move up your reservation, move it to another night, or cancel it.

We weren't allowed to check in any earlier than 15 minutes before our reservation. We were there 20 minutes before our reservation and they told us to go hang out on the bridge and wait for those extra 5 minutes.

It is unlikely you will be accepted 1 hour early. I would keep trying to get an earlier ADR.

BOG is one restaurant where many have posted that they were not able to check in until just a few minutes before their reservation time.

If you want to go to the DAH at AK on that night you'll need to have a much earlier BOG reservation because the event ticket allows you to enter the park at 7 PM. You will also need to allow travel and security check time. I would look for a reservation no later than 5:00 or on a different evening.

I think your chances of checking in early are slim to none. BOG is still one of the most difficult restaurants to secure ADR's and they are quite strict about timing. Personally, I do not like to rush for anything once I am on vacation, so I would try to move my reservation to a different day than the after hours event at DAK.

AK After Hours starts at 9:00 pm with entry as early as 7:00 pm. Personally, if attending and, depending on what time I wanted to enter and what transportation I was taking (bus/Minnie Van/uber/lyft), I would be leaving MK between 5:45 pm - 7:45 pm and I would allow 90 - 120 minutes for BOG. I would either try to move BOG to a really early dinner that day (they start serving at 4 pm) or switch it to another day altogether. As PP's have said, chances of being seated early at BOG are slim to none.

As others have said, its not likely they will let you in early unless they are very quiet that night.
I would either keep trying to move the ADR up or cancel it.
