Body books for Young Girls

The Care and Keeping of You is obviously a popular one. I just bought it on Wednesday for my DD9 and I had to go too 3 different book stores to find it. Finally, Borders was the only one that wasn't sold out. I was kind of shocked by the tampon insertion illustration, but I need to realize my baby is growing up. I haven't given the book too her yet, but when I do, I plan on sitting down with her and us reading it together. Just in case she has any questions about anything.

I was a little surprised by that also. At age 7 -8 DD skipped right over that becasue it was "oh--icky!" But boy when it came time for her to need that information at 12 that section became her/my favourite part of the whole dang book.
