BOCA Veggie Burger at SCI-FI??? Calling all VEGGIES!!!

I had read on older threads the you could substitute a BOCA Burger for
a BEEF Burger at SCI-FI CAFE--Does anyone know if you can still do this?
My DS would like this.
I will be trying the Grilled Tofu with Mango Sauce.
Anyone have this lately? how was it?

I believe they do have a veggie burger option. When we to Sci Fi this past May, I ordered the ruben w/o meat and the CM asked if I'd like a veggie burger. I said no because I don't care for boca burgers but he did give me the option.

Yep - when we were there in June I had it. Was one of my favorite meals at WDW and I am not a huge tofu fan! The tofu was thinly sliced and grilled; really good!! Going this weekend and will be back there again.

Yes, I know for sure that Boca Burgers are available at Cosmic Rays in MK.
They are very good. Boca is just the bran name of the Soy burger (made from Soybeans) which has more of a meatlike texture than some veggie burgers which are made of vegetables and Grains.
I think that Boca Burgers are also available at the Restaurant in Frontierland
(can't think of the name of it) but I have order them from there menu before.

Yes they do. What makes Cosmic Rays veggie burgers good (in my opinion) is that they have a "fixins bar" with all kinds of toppings for your burger. In addition to the usual ketchup, mustard and pickles they have sliced tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms and onions, and other good things to pile on top of that Boca burger.

which is why many veggies DON'T like Boca burgers. I don't eat meat and don't need a veg product to taste like meat. I actually avoid Boca burgers. I've also had them trigger migraines in past, which for me are usually triggered by various food additives.

Just because you are allergic to soy doesn't mean that it is a bad product and
that everyone that eat Boca burgers are Bad People.
This is just a friendly discussion and bashing others is not part
it so if you can't say anything nice-- you know the rest!!!

A Boca burger is a fake meat vegetarian burger imitation. I don't much care for them. I do, however, like Boca Black bean burgers, which don't mimic meat. They are pretty good (they are basically black beans with soy and corn).

I prefer the Morningstar Farms products (their "Grillers Prime" product for example) to the Boca burgers which are a bit too soft for my liking. I haven't tried the Boca Black Bean burgers though. They sound interesting. Morningstar Farms makes a similar product, I think it's called "Spicy Black Bean and Corn" or something along those lines. Makes a great taco or burrito.

what I felt like you were trying to imply something more by
making that statement. I am not looking for product reviews,
health information, Just if I could get a Veggie Burger at SCi-Fi.
