Bobby got sent home from the hospital last night

I just thought I'd let you guys know that he's been released. I think he was driving the nurses nuts. They had to put him at the nurses' station because he was tearing his room apart and had fallen off his bed once. Sounds like my little guy LOL

I was until the nurses sent me home to get some rest yesterday. I had been there and sleeping in his bed since Thursday night and was not getting much sleep.

You can always tell that they are feeling better when they start acting like their old selves. I think that every little boy has a little "monkey" in them. When the monkey part goes away is when you need to worry.

The "monkey" part was coming back on Sunday afternoon/evening very strongly. I had to keep him from getting on the floor several times (he was hooked up to a monitor.)

Now, I just need to make it up to Jessa that I didn't get to spend any time with her this past weekend (they were supposed to be with me from Thursday night until Saturday afternoon and she ended up staying with my parents from Thursday night until Sunday afternoon but barely got to see me.)

Wow, all the times Dakota was hospitalized for Asthma they put him in one of those big industrialized cribs (and no he was well past baby age) and I had a cot right next to it. The bed was just a precaution so he couldn't get out of the room when no one was in there with him...thankfully he was never alone though.

Bobby has always had the crib before as well. The child who was his roommate had a crib, but Bobby had a bed from the very beginning. I could have slept in a chair that folded out into a "bed" but I decided to sleep with Bobby b/c it made him happier.
