on the Bud Garden Swing, but now you have to tell us about your trip! :) :)

Did you have a great time? Did you get to see much of the Flower & Garden Festival? :) Did you buy anything, sunflower seeds, garden art, or maybe a plumeria???? ;)

Welcome home!! :) :flower:

Thank you! I loved the topiaries and DogGone Maze. We enjoyed 2 concerts each of Gary Puckett and Orleans. Then the rain came, on both evenings, and we watched Illuminations in a downpour. The flowers were all so lovely, and the days were so beautiful. Tom and I couldn't resist going to the other parks to do the rides that you get wet on Kali River Rapids, and my favorite Splash Mountain. The GARDINIAS were in bloom and fragrant all over Animal Kingdom! I noticed some women with flowers in their hair, and believe me I was tempted, but then what would others have to see and enjoy?

We like to look at the little train in the World Showcase, and Tom says it's just what our backyard needs. LOL! I told him about the thread regarding garden RR's, but I doubt that we would get beyond planning stage.

I'm more a looker than a buyer, especially when we have a plane ride, we always have connections, and almost always have delays which cause extra short layovers and near-misses, I'm (we're) frazzled. I did find a great album for my Disney Photos, and Tom bought a DVC golf shirt. I still like to have photo albums, pictures on line don't satisfy my need to have something to touch and look at.

Back in Ohio, my colors are almost all gone, I have a few pink tulips left but the lily of the valley is just opening and smells divine. In the neighborhood, the mountain pinks are just wonderful, carpets of pinks and purples.

Oh yes, the southern magnolias at the Beach Club resort were in bloom. What fragrance, and later the red cone will come, wow! That is my favorite magnolia, I long to have one. I planted one in Hamilton Township NJ, it lived for the 10 years we were there, but I have no idea how/if it fared. When we move to Orlando/Florida I will have a Magnolia Grandiflora on my "house must have" list.

I'm reading the threads, learning a lot, but couldn't get anything when I clicked on Bud Garden Swing reference.

I know there are probably lots of BUDS out there with irregular thyroids, they seem to be common in my age group, but this is the time for my yearly sonogram, check/up, and I'm a bit nervous, please remember me in your thoughts and prayers, the procedure seemed to take twice as long today as it did last year.

Bobbi:D

Thanks for the trip report, Bobbi (I love gardenias and magnolias!)....and good luck with your testing. You'll be in my thoughts.

I'm sorry Bobbi, I wasn't very clear about the Bud Garden Swing! :) It wasn't meant to be link, it was just me visualizing the Buds sitting on a swing (or two!), listening to you tell us about your trip. :) I'm a little weird that way..lol. ;)

Except for some soggy weather, it sounds like you had a great time! :) Next time, go ahead, put a flower in your hair! ::yes:: :flower2:

Good thoughts for you that your tests come back fine, Bobbi! I had one of my parathyroid glands removed last year, and yes, I'm pretty sure there are more Buds with those kind of problems. I hope your thyroid is okay! :)
