Boatwrights

We have often stayed at POR but we have never tried Boatwrights. Has anyone eaten there lately? What was your favourite dish on the menu? We are thinking of trying it for our march trip. Thanks in advance for all your advice!

We have dined at Boatwright's about every time we have been to the World. It's good food, big place so seating is quick. Nice outside waiting area. Ask for Gail G. for a server.

We love Boatwright's! The house salad is wonderful and so is the crab stuffed salmon.
Breakfast is really great, too! We like to get their banana stuffed French toast that's rolled in cinnamon/sugar and topped with strawberries. Mmmmm...

OOOOOHHHHH. French Toast was wonderful. Yum, I can still see it. Try it you will enjoy it.

We have only eaten here for breakfast and it is really good. When our server asked where we were staying she said that she was surprised (that we weren't staying there) that people who don't stay at this resort never come just for the restaurant. We have previously stayed here and loved the food so we came back.

I have a breakfast PS at Boatwright's in April, although I will not be staying at POR. It's my favorite place in the World to start the day - the wonderful southern atmosphere and food choices - I can't wait!!

We had breakfast at Boatwrights in December and really enjoyed it. There sweet potato pancakes are very good, in fact I had them twice on this trip.

We ate dinner at Boatwright's twice last week. My husband's opinion was that the crab stuffed salmon was a thumbs up and the prime rib a definite thumbs down. My pork with mashed potatoes dinner... I can't remember what it was called... was delicious but the blackened seafood/pasta meal was a little too spicy for me. However, I can now say that I tasted catfish! The kids' meals were standard Disney fare.
I would recommend making reservations if you are going during a busy time. We walked right in on our arrival evening (Wed 2/11) but were glad that we made reservations for Sat 2/15. The place was packed, probably because of President's week starting.
